11Repair/overhauling of LT air circuit breaker of any size and make and capacity and replacement of minor items like springs, washers, bolts and nuts and other insulating materials including calibration and testing of control and protection devices of equipments in the following steps: (i) Disconnect and taking out the breaker after taking power shut down of the respective panel and check for defects and painting one coat of synthetic enamel paint in inner campartment of panel . (ii) Overhauling/ servicingthe ACB by opening all parts and lubricating with petrolium jelly and moving parts withgrease etc as per the requirement. (iii) Re-assemble the ACB complete and install to its original position and test and commission the breaker for both tripping mechanism and closing mechanism for proper functioning of the breaker all as specified and as directed. Note:- Cost of lubricant/ cleaning agents (CRC & rust remover) / hardware like springs/ bolts/ nuts/ washers,cost of labour, T&P required for replacement shall be etc. shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted.
12M & L Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 60cmX60cmX6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connecting to galvanized earth strip 32 x 6 mm as earthing conductor by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI and all as shown in Electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part I and including testing on completion all as specified locations and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1.The above quoted rate shall include cost of main earthing lead of 32 x 6mm GI earth strip, charcoal, salt, excavation and earth work in any type of soil CI cover, funnel with 20mm dia light grade GIwater pipe including GI protection pipe 40mm dia light grade for earth strip etc. 2. The cost of earth pit is deemed to be included in the unit rate.
13M&L for jointing/ cutting/ welding/ replacing hinges, locking arrangementetc all as site required to LT panel made out MS sheet and angle for making smoth opening and closing complete with re-painting as same matching with exsiting surrface all as directed.
14Decarbonising/ cleaning of Existing LT panelcubical type of various size consists of bus bar and circuit chamber, metering chambers CTs and relays chambers, checking the bus bar joints, bus bar and circuit spouts, cleaning and applying Busbar Insulation Tape to the bus bars , checking the current transformer, applying Monoplast compound at the bus bar joints after tightening of joints ,replacednew suiable size of lugs /suitable copper control cableand reassembling , if any rusted sheet replaced with new sheet as per existing sizecomplete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note:- Cost of lubricant/ cleaning agents (CRC & rust remover) / hardware like springs/ bolts/ nuts/ washers,lugs/ suitable copper cables cost of labour, T&P required for replacement shall be etc. shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted.
15Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide andn.exc1.5 mtr in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
16All as per item No. 1 above but exceeding 1.5 mtr and not exceeding 3 mtr in depth.
17Returning and filling including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layer n.exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Note :- (a) Shifting and fixing transformer from own arrangent temporarily from MES Area to that area ( Back up Transformer will be provided by MES)(b) The cost of transportation of 2 transformers between Existing location and the Workshop is deemed to be included in the unit price. Note- 1. Three runs of ACSR shall be measured as one unit. 2. Span Between two consecutive poles shall be measured as one unit. 3. The cost of use of required tools and safety equipments is deemed to be included in this unit price.
87Labour for trimming/cutting to small tree branches girth not exc 30cm upto minimum 2 Mtr clearance, tightening to stay stand in proper angle complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. Note- 1. Span Between two consecutive poles shall be measured as one unit. 2. The cost of use of required tools and safety equipments is deemed to be included in this unit price.
88NOTES: 1.The amount of schedule of credit shall be deducted from the total of this BOQ for arriving at contract sum. 2.The rates for RCC/PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork, shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the item. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
