| 8 | (a) Contractor shall quote his rate by considering 5.5% bitumen content. If it is less than 5.5% by weight of total mix, the amount shall be recovered for the less weight of binder only at the rate of Rs 42/- per Kg if technically acceptable. No other claim whatsoever on account of this will be allowed. |
| 9 | (b) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used / approved in the execution of work under this item. |
| 10 | (c) Cement shall be used as filler at a minimum of 2% by weight of total mix. In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of filler content on plus side, nothing extra shall be paid. |
| 11 | (d) The coarse aggregate forSDAC shall be granite stone. |
