| 2 | Excavation in foundation,trenches etc. in earth work in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil, including saturated soil comprising of pick work,jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiselling and wedging out of rock (whereblastingis prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil including dewatering where ever required,setting out to required lines,levels as shown on the drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site, according to the HPPWD specification of 1990-Volume-I, and shorting out useful and un-useful materials and stacking the same in all leads,lifts and transportations of the usefull materials for filling in roadways embankments for grades improvements and levelling to required grades and then disposing of surplus excavated earth in acquired width of road on or approved dumping sites through all modes of transpsportation including head load animal load or mechanical means alongwith its levelling fine dressing and all labour, mechnieries materials,tools,equipments and incidental necessary to complete the work by mechanized means and labouor(if any required).All useful materials such as stone single, aggregate and slates shall be sorted out and stacked along road side to the maximuim possible extends in all leads,lifts through all modes of transportation and all others incidental charges any loss to the public and private properities during the course of execution and disposal of serviceable and un-serviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractors and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respectincluding haulaging/ carriage of all labours, equipments and materials to various locations through all mode of transportations in all leads, lifts to the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer- in - Charge. |
