4Providing and laying cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 sand : 12 crushed stone aggreagte 40 mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form workin foundation and plinth in all leads and lifts.
5Providing and laying cement concrete 1:5:10 (1 cement:5 sand: 10 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size ) with 15 % plumand curing complete excluding cost of form work in retaining walls/ breast walls, the size of plums shall usually be 150 mm. to 300 mm. as per H.P.P.W.D specifications in all leads and lifts.

The contractor/ firm shall propose the layout of WTP units in such a manner that the cost of site development is minimum. Terms and Condition:- The firm shall submit the detailed hydraulic and structural design and drawing for each component of treatment plant which shall be approved by the department before the work is started. Before submitting the hydraulic as well as structural design and drawing for approval by the department it should be duly vetted from any of institution mentioned below:- (ii) Any of IIT/NIT (iii) (ii) Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh. The design/ drawing of mechanical/ electrical equipment and wiring etc. along with manufacture’s specification/design also be submitted for approval of the department after vetting.In design and drawings the contractor/ firm shall submit the design calculations clearly indicating various formulae used and reference of books IS codes thereto. The contractors/ firms shall also supply software copy.(CD) of design calculation along with basic data used in the design so as to facilitatethe quick checking/approval of the same. On the completion of all civil mechanical and electrical works, the contractor shall test/run the plant for 90 days beforehanding over the same to the department at the risk and cost of the contractor, however, electrical charges shall be borne by the department.During this period the contractor shall run the plant of full rated capacity and produce the results as per the CPHEEO standards and ISI codes in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge or his representative. During this period , the daily testing of raw water and treated water samples shall be done. Complete record of the test results and the flow measurement shall bekept during this period. If the performance of various units of the treatment plant is as specified in the CPHEEO Manual the plant shall be formally taken over by the department, otherwise the contactor shall make necessary changes / repair to improve the efficiency of the units/plant. The contractor / firm shall run and maintain the plant for further90 days after handing over the plant to the department. During this period the firm shall depute at least one trained person to train the departmental persons in operating, maintaining the plant and regular testing of the raw water and treated water samples in thelaboratory for the same period shall be done. During this period. Only energy charges shall be borne by the department. Thecontractor/ firm shall be responsible for any break down of the machinery/ equipment and shall have to repair all the fault/defects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Out of 90 days one month should preferably be Monsoon to test the plant for heavy silt loads.

188Providing MS sheet steel fabricated floor mounted closed(almirah type) switch board including angle iron post of suitable height and size ISA 40x4r0x6 duly painted with steel sheet of 16 gauge comprising and capable of mounting the following accessories within all internal connections. All the accessories should be suitable for the proposed pumping machinery at item No.1 above and to the entire satisfaction of HPSEB authorities. The same shall have to be replaced with out extra cost if recommended by HPSEB authorities

265AUTOMATION OF ENTIRE SYSTEM :The tendered / firm shall provide two alternative proposals for automation ( Wired / Non wired) i.e. (i) To automize the entire scheme up to Main storage tank at Kutli. The plan of the whole scheme for automation is also to be prepared by the firm, the cost of which has been included in the relevant items. Provision of automation of complete project with main SCADA and control station at one treatment plant at Dolra with remote access at Division & Sub Division office at Mandi & Saigaloo. GSM based devices shall be installed at each tank of every stagewhich shall send messages through SCADA stations at two offices and five Mobile Numbers. This data transmission system at each tank of pump station consists of field instruments for providing digital and analog signals to data transfer module. This module will have a communication to web data transfer system module communication. The PLC station will have control station with programmable graphic process, mimics, real time and historical trending face plate and group display, alarm management and report with Laser Jet printers and required furniture. Installation of hardware along with commissioning/ programming as per user requirement shall be done. The firm / contractor will provide the Bulk metering at Water Treatment Plants The automation of the entire scheme upto main storage tank shall also include the followingsa) At intake point :-Provision shall be kept for automatic flow measurement and flow control with quality measurement turbidity. b) Water Treatment Plant at Dolra:- Fully automatized operation including alum dosing and back washing and chlorinationfrom inlet to out let along with automatic sensor for Turbidity,pHand Residual chlorined) Storage Water Tanks at lifting station:-Automatic Inlet and Out Let through single out flow pipe (common header),Low and high level sensoralong with all required accessories.c)Leakage detection mechanism along with necessary relevant provisions complete in all respect be provided. A separate room of proper size for housing automation system shall be provided at each station. It should also include telecommunication comprising of required numbers of connections as per actual requirement at site. The automation system installed at above / aforesaid locations should be theft proof and proper ventilation arrangements be made complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in Charge . the firm/contactor shall submit complete proposal for automation and got approved from competent authority, along with presentation before award of project. g) The make of Sluice valve shall be Kriloskar / Leader / KSB. The makes for Electrical actuator for automatic valves shall be Marsh / Auma / Rotex . The make for PLC shall be Siemens / Allen Bradly. The make for ultra Sonic level sensors shall be ABB / Siemens / E&H / Fobes Mrshal.
