2Carrying out contour survey and developing the contour map with levels at 10m centre-to-centre and contours at 0.5m interval includi ng staking and marking of plot boundary and development of drawings as per specifications, scope of work and directions of the Engin eer-In-Charge complete in all respect. [Notes: (1) This also includes setting/ fixing and construction of Permanent Reference Pillar(Bench Mark) with erection of insert plate, engraving coordinates and levels etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Char ge. (2) The item also includes furnishing of High Flood Level of the area.]
3Deployment & Erection of Boring craft & Rig at each borehole location as per specifications, SCC, scope of work and directions of th e Engineer-In-Charge. [Notes: (1) Boring depth shall be measured from Ground Level/ River Bed level. Depth of actual soil strata bor ed/ rock strata drilled shall be considered for payment. (2) Mere deployment of rig/ boring/ drilling in river bed will not be consi dered as deployment/ boring/ drilling "in water" unless it is actually carried out in water. (3) Rate shall be inclusive of groutingback the boreholes as specified including cost for material, equipments and labour. (4) Core Recovery >25 % shall be designated as rock. (5) Recording of rock core characterstics shall be as per specification.]

5Conducting boring at site in soil, depth from Ground Level/ Bed Level as per specifications, SCC, scope of work and directions of th e Engineer-In-Charge. 7Drilling through rock with "Nx size Double Tube Core Barrel" up to a depth as specified in SCC below Ground Level/ Bed Level using T C Bit/ Diamond Bit as per specifications, SCC, scope of work and directions of the Engineer-In-Charge. [Notes: (1) Boring depth shal l be measured from Ground Level/ River Bed level. Depth of actual soil strata bored/ rock strata drilled shall be considered for pay ment. (2) Mere deployment of rig/ boring/ drilling in river bed will not be considered as deployment/ boring/ drilling "in water" un less it is actually carried out in water. (3) Rate shall be inclusive of grouting back the boreholes as specified including cost formaterial, equipments and labour. (4) Core Recovery >25 % shall be designated as rock. 9Conducting Standard Penetration Test at different depths as per specifications, SCC, scope of work and directions of the Engineer-In -Charge.
10Conducting Plate Load Test at various locations up to specified depth for determination of Ultimate Bearing Capacity of soil, Modulu s of Sub-grade Reaction & Modulus of Elasticity as per specifications, SCC, scope of work and directions of the Engineer-In-Charge.
11Cyclic Plate Load Test
12Excavating Trial Pits (TPs) of size 3m x 3m at various locations for conducting CBR Test, up to 3m depth below ground level in all t ypes of soil and weathered rock including sheeting or shoring the sides for the purpose of stability, de-watering and maintaining th e pit dry at all times, collecting disturbed/ undisturbed samples at 1m interval and at final depth and transporting all the collect ed samples to the laboratory; backfilling of the pit with excavated material, etc. all complete as per specifications, SCC, scope ofwork and directions of the Engineer-In-Charge.
13Collection of undisturbed samples at different depths as per specifications, SCC, scope of work and directions of the Engineer-In-Ch arge.
14Collection of disturbed samples at different depths as per specifications, SCC, scope of work and directions of the Engineer-In-Char ge.
15Collection of Ground Water samples & its chemical analysis as per specifications, SCC, scope of work and directions of theEngineer -In-Charge.
16Carrying out Static Cone Penetration Test up to a depth of 20m as per specifications, SCC, scope of work and directions of the Engin eer-In-Charge. (For above-ground storage tanks only).
17Conducting in-situ analysis for dynamic properties of soil as per specifications, scope of work and directions of the Engineer-In-Ch arge. (For MLPU Foundations).
