Bids Are Invited For Custom Bid For Services - ---- Total Quantity :-1.1 Survey Of Gantry Rail System With Lasers To Map The Current Position Of Crane Rail Including Span Variation, Straightness Variation And Gradient Variation Contractor To Confirm 2 Scope Of Work For Survey Of The Bay Rail: 2.1 Checking Rail Span At 3 Meters Intervals Contractor To Confirm 2.2 Checking Rail Alignment - Straightness At Every 3 Meters Contractor To Confirm 2.3 Checking Rail Level - Gradient At Every 3 Meters Contractor To Confirm 2.4 Checking Difference In Two Sides Of Rail Levels At Every 3 Meters Contractor To Confirm 2.5 Visual Inspection Of Condition Of Gantry Rail, Its Wear Condition Of Rail Clamps And Joints Contractor To Confirm 2.6 Submission Of Report Of Above Checking Individually For Each Bay Contractor To Confirm 2.7 Tightening Of Rail Clamp Bolts Wherever Required Contractor To Confirm 2.8 If The Rail Clamp Is Found Damage Than The Rail Clamps Shall Be Removed And Rewelded After Proper Surface Preparation By Grinding Of The Surface. Contractor To Confirm 2.9 In Case Rail Joints Are Not Matching Properly Than The Contractor Has To Remove The Clamps And Match The Rail Joints For Its Proper Alignment Contractor To Confirm 2.10 In Case Gap Is Generated In The Rail Joints, Contractor Has To Fill The Gap By Putting Packing Plates And Welding Followed By Cleaning Of Surface Contractor To Confirm 2.11 Cleaning Of Gantry Girders Of The Block Along With The Pathway On Which Rails Are Mounted Contractor To Confirm 2.12 Minor Span Adjustment Required, To Check The Parallality Of Rails Contractor To Confirm 2.13 Taper Wadges And Packing Plates Required For Maintaining Level Of Rail Shall Be Provided By Bhel Free Of Cost Contractor To Confirm 2.14 Note: Major Repair Work Like Level Adjustment Of Whole Bay And Change Of Worn Out Rails Shall Not Be Included In The Contract Contractor To Confirm 3 Tools & Tackles Brought By The Contractor For Execution Of The Work On Returnable Basis: 3.1 For Checking Rail Gradient And Level Difference Between Two Rails, Either A Five Way Laser Or A Rotating Laser Instrument Should Be Employed. Use Of Total Station Is Also Permitted. Contractor To Confirm 3.2 The Measuring Tools Should Be Preferably New And Not Older Than 2 Years. Tools That Are More Than 2 Years Old Shall Be Accompanied By A Valid Calibration Certificate. Contractor To Confirm 3.3 Calibrated Steel Tape 50 Meters Long With Heavy Duty Magnet And Spring Balance For Checking Crane Span ( The Gantry Rail Span Should Be Matched With Crane Span
