2Designing and testing of anthracite as per order no.KWA/WASCON/AEE11/697/2018 dated 23/03/2019.by MD KWA
3Supply of the Anthracite as per item 1 above in quantity required as per design, properly graded and tested by supplier specifying the source of material and quality commensurate to the following specifications-SP Gravity-1.45-1.55, Uniformity coeft.-1.5, bulkdensity-0.73-0.76T/m3,Hardness -3MOH, Hardgrover 44-50,carboon cont.90%,Ash-3.4%,Volatile-5.7%,Solubility-1.5% in 10%,HCL-10% NaOH, for 24 Hrs certification including all cost ,taxes conveyance to site loading and unloading etc complete. The following specifications for Anthrcite shall be adhered to Anthracite Effective size d10 -1.0to 1.6 mmSpecific Gravity-1.45 to 1.55 Uniformity Coefficient - 1.7or lowerHardness ( Mohs Scale)- > 2.7Acid Solubility - < 5%Shall confirm to AWWA : B100 Standards The Anthracite and filter sand shall be tested in Regional Research Laboratory / CSIR Labs of Goverment of India for its suitability.
4Removing filter media from the filter beds without making any damages to the existing structures and back manifolds and stacking at a safe and convenient place for segregation process and as per the directions of the department officers etc. complete.
5Repair/ Alteration of the under drain system by replacing all damaged pipes with
suitable
arrangements and providing all additional mechanisms and fixtures required according to the
design
of miulti layer filtering system complete.
6Modification / alteration of the existlng back washing system comprising of compressed air/
blower and clear water providing new air scouring system, providing new pressure regulating valves or such other
mechanisms and flxtures required according to the design of multi layer fiiter media back washing operations complete.
7Supplying of 20 to 40 mm pebble (pebbles shall be hard, clean, free from clay, dust and other impurities), stacking in standard heaps for measurement including cost, conveyance up to 5 km and labour charges for stacking, spreading, testing and as per directions of the department officers etc. complete and as per CPHEEO specification.
8Supplying and stacking for measurement of filter sand having effective size 0.45 to 0.70 mm and uniformity coefficient 1.30 to 1.7, of specific gravity in the range of 2.55 - 2.65 and hard and clean, free from clay, dust and other impurities including cost of materials, labour charges and conveyance of materials up to 5 km and as per the directions of the department officers etc. complete and as per CPHEEO specification.
9Refurbishjng the filter beds using dual layer filter media as per the design separately laying
each grade of supporting gravel and the filter sand and anthracite one above other separately as directed by the
engineer in charge complete
10Trial running and maintaining the filter beds for a period of one month and providing training to
the KWA personnel in the operation and maintenance of the new system including providing knowledge transfer to
the concerned engineers of KWA assaigned for the purpose including all expences for such training etc. complete
11Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level:1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 nominal size)

15Construction of valve chamber of inner size 1.1mx1.1mx1.1m in M25 grade cement concrete doe reinforced cement concrete work and 10mm MS rod (330Kg) for foundation, side wall and cover slab platform 1.6mx1.6mx0.2m, side wall 20cm thick, in 1:1.5:3 using 20mm broken stone, plastering inside the valve chamber and cover slab in CM 1:3, 6mm thick including cost and conveyance of all materials as per the direction deptl. officers.
16Cutting 350 mm (ID) MS pipes for making bends and other specialsby gas cutting including cost of gas, all labour and hire charges of tools etc. complete: For pipes fabricated with 8mm thick MS plates.
17Cutting of 350 mm AC pipes of all classes diametrically, the cut being diametricallyperpenticular to the axis of pipe and smoothening of the cut ends etc complete. "(Ref. No. 1103(8) of Technical Circular 21-07-95) "
18Fabricating, supplying, conveying and fitting 350mm MS Flanged collar including charges fabricating 350mm (ID) MS flangd using 12mm thick MS plate, fabricating MS pipe of size 350mm (ID) using 8mm thick MS plate, charges of painting the steel work with two or more coat deluxe multi surface paint to give an even shade over an under coat of primer, cutting, machining, grinding and welding charges of MS plate, all labour charges, coveyance charges, hire for tools, cost of nut & bolts, rubber insertions etc. complete.
19Conveying and fixing CI sluice valve by providing complete. with bolts, nuts, rubber insertions etc. excluding the cost of valve (the tail piece if required will be paid separately) 350mm diameter geared butterfly valve PN 1.6
20APPENDIX D - PROVIDING AND LAYING TILEON FILTER BED
21Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead.For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm
22Chipping out the mortar from the underside of tile floor
23Cement plaster askirting upto 30 cm height, with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), finished with a floating coat of neat cement .
24Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4(1 cement : 4 coarse sand), including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete.
