NAME OF WORK: REPAIR/REPLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF VCBS, SERVO STABILIZER, ISOLATION TRANSFORMER, RMU AND HT CABLE AND THEIR ALLIED WORKS AT AF STATION PURNEA.

1Note :Prior to commencement of the subject works, the contractor needs to submit valid Electrical License in the name of himself/them self or Agreement with agency having valid Electrical License alongwith Agency"s Electrical License to the Accepting Officer for his approval through GE. In absence of such documents, no work will be executed at site and to be treated as defaulter on the Contractor"s part . In addition, Supervisor for execution of electrical works employed by the Contractor shall posses Supervisory Certificate of competency issued by concerned State Govt/Union Territory and the Worker/Tradesman for execution of Electrical Works must hold necessary permit issued by concerned State Govt/Union Territory.
2Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for taking out/laying of under ground cables/pipes etc n. exc 10 sqm on plan and n. exc 1.5m in depth and getting out and in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.
3Returning, filling in soft/loose soil including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc.25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.
4Removing excavated materials (soils) n.exc.50 mtr and depositingwhere directed at a level n.exc.1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.
5Material and labour providing sand cushioning with a layer of clean, dry, fine sand for protection of electric cable laid in trenches/ducts, punned down to desired thickness complete all as specified and directed. (Note: For payment purposes only punned down thickness of sand shall be measured )
6Supply & laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP, type 1 with peak, size 450mm x 230mm x 50 mm all as specified & directed.
7Relaying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class EHV, type 1 with peak, size 450mm x 230mm x 50 mm all as specified & directed.
8Taking out oldunserviceableHT cable , any size & type from the trenches of pipe including taking out brick cable protection if required and deposited as directed (Note: Excavation and earth work will be measured & paid separately).
9Relaying in trenchesold serviceableXLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, heavy dutyelectric cable with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade (earthed) 150 sq. mm 3 core after thoroughlychecking/testing and repair/replacement of jointing kit complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note : Cable obtained from taking out under serial item No 8.00 will be used. Cable joint kit/material will be measured & paid separately)
10Supply and laying in replacementXLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, heavy dutyelectric cable with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade (earthed), 150 sq. mm,3 core in trenches/ on walls/ through duct complete all as specified and directed.
11Take down old unserviceable cablejointing kit 11 KV grade, any type & any size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in - Charge.
12Material and labourin replacement cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed)grade cable for outdoor termination, heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories, suitable for 3 core XLPE, armoured, aluminiumconductor cable of size 120 sqmm to 185 sqmmcomplete all as specified and directed.
13Material and labourcable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed)grade cable for straight through joint, heat shrink typecomplete with jointing material and accessories, suitable for 3 core XLPE, armoured, aluminiumconductor cable of size 150 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.
14Taking down/taking out old unserviceableGI pipe any size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in - Charge.
15Supply and laying GI tubing 100 mm bore, light grade for protection of underground electriccablecomplete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in - Charge.
16Material and labour dehydration and filtration of transformer oil at site of installation for 11kV, 433 volts step down transformer of any capacity and any make, mounted indoor/outdoor and obtaining di-electric strength minimum 50 kV (r.m.s) with in one minute with 2.5 mm gap with portable filter-cum-dehydration machine complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in - Charge.(Note:- Testing of di-electric strength of dehydrated transformer oil of each transformer will be carried out in the presence of concerned Engineer -in - Charge.)
17Material and labourproviding new transformer oil in replacement of old unserviceable transformer oil of di-electric strength not less than 50 kV after draining out old oil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in - Charge.
18Material and labour in replacement of old unserviceable lightning arrestor, expulsion type with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo-amp including taking down old one complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in - Charge.
19Dismantling VCB (Vacuum Circuit Breaker) by disconnecting its HT cable connection from both sides and 11 KV GOD and segregating/ checking all unserviceable parts, motor etc,reassembling allserviceable parts and also replacing unserviceable parts with the new parts, rewiring of internal circuit with new cable as per existing size, testing, calibration of relays, CT connection, PT alignment, Cleaning, polishing of VCB including final testing after fixing complete all as directed by Engineer -in - Charge.

54Material and labour for servicing and repair of isolation Transformer of capacity 100 KVA including, microprocessor based card of isolation, servicing of isolation mechanism, replacement of Ammeter and Voltmeter complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
55Material and labour for Servicing and repair of SERVO stabilizer of capacity 100KVA including repair of variac of each phase ,microprocessor based card of servo, servicing of gear mechanism ,replacement of Ammeter and voltmeter all as specified and as directed
56Material and labour for calibration and servicing of SF6 TYPERMU(ABB SAFE LINK CB,RMU IEC 62271-200 TYPE:CVC+) including cleaning and refixing of all three input and output cable, servicing of spring charge mechanism, servicing of self powered relay including replacement of battery of the relay, calibration of RMU as per existing HT load of RMU, replacement of hydraulic link of opening cover and necessary connections complete all as specified and as directed.
57Material and labour for lifting of transformer 63 KVA after disconnecting HT/LT connection and earthing connection from 2/4 pole structure with the help of mobile crane and shifting to workshop for repair and taking back to the site after repair complete all as directed by Engineer -in - Charge
58Material and labour for complete repair of transformer 63 KVA capacity, outdoor type, 11/0.433 kV, step up/down including replacement of the following old unserviceable parts by new one complete all as directed by Engineer -in - Charge :- (a) Lifting of core and winding assembly complete from inside the transformerafter unscrewing all bolts, nuts, washers and cleaning complete transformer after draining out used transformer insulating oil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in - Charge. (b)Rewinding of primary and secondary winding with existing size of super enamelled copper wire as approved and directed by Engineer -in - Charge. (c) Replacement of LT bushing complete with copper spindle, check nuts oil seal, bolts nuts and washer etc. complete all as directed by Engineer -in - Charge. (d) Replacement of HT bushing complete with copper spindle, check nuts oil seal, bolts nuts and washer etc. complete all as directed by Engineer -in - Charge. (e) Replacement of breather complete setwith silica gel Indicating type with blue crystals conforming to IS: 3401-1992 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- Charge. (f) Replacement of insulating paper and rubber gasket as required during repair all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- Charge. (g) Reassembling the transformer, transportation to the location, installation testing and commissioning upto the entire satisfaction by Engineer -in - Charge.
