Tender For Scaffolding And Insulation - Pre Turn Around--System Scaffolding - In Open S Long Description: JOB SCOPE:1. Erect system (CUPLOK) scaffolding at all elevations and locations as instructed by Job Engineer.2. Scaffolding shall be erected as per procedure mentionedin Maintenance Work Procedure - MNT/ONS/MWP/14.Specification of scaffolding material is mentioned in theMWP.3. Proper landing platform shall be made using grilledgratings at each level (interval of max.6 meters) uptotop/working platform of scaffolding.4. Safe ladder steps shall be provided at each landingplatform for easy level to level climbing. Step laddersshall be made up either of steel complying with IS1977:1975 or of Aluminium Alloys complying with IS617:1975. Ladder rung spacing shall be uniform anddistance between any two rungs shall not exceed 1 ft.5. Upper end of ladder rails shall be welded with hooks forproper securing over scaffolding pipe and ladder to befastened at its middle and bottom to scaffolding pipesusing suitable fittings like swivel clamps to have adequaterigidity and to prevent slipping/tilting.6. For working at any level, working platform with guardrailing, toe plate and grilled grating base shall be made andworkmen shall use this working platform for erection of scaffolding to the next level. Standing on scaffoldingpipe(s) for erection/dismantling jobs is not permissible.7. Each working / landing platform shall provided withhand / guard railing right round the platform to avoidfalling of objects. The minimum distance between top railand platform shall be 0.9m to 1.05m.8. Agency shall use suitable base plates (fixed / adjustable)for leveling the scaffolding to horizontal.9. Ensure enough rigidity of scaffolding at differentheights by providing adequate diagonal bracing tubes.10. Scaffolding Verticals shall be of maximum 3 meterheight with the cups welded at 0.5m span and ledgers(horizontals) shall be of maximum 2.5 meter long withends welded with forged blades.RATE PAYABLE:Per block of size 2.5m (Width) x 2.5m (Breadth) x 3m(Height) erected and dismantled for the heights up to 6mtr. from the ground level.NOTES:1. Agency shall ensure that sizes of ledger n verticals shallbe 2.5 mtr and 3 mtr. respectively. Incase lesser sizeledgers/horizontals are used, rate will be decreasedaccordingly n paid on pro-rata basis.2. Erected scaffolding shall be retained for a minimumperiod of one month unless otherwise instructed byEngineer-in- charge. If the scaffolding erected is retainedfor more than one month, then agency shall be paidretention charges as per respective line item.3. Even if scaffolding erected once is used for more thanone job, agency shall be paid only once.4. Proper training shall be provided by the agency to allagencys Riggers n Job Supervisors from ScaffoldingMaterial Supplier (OR) reputed scaffolding erectorsapproved by HPCL. Only the trained workmen nsupervisors are allowed to carry out scaffolding works inthe Refinery and agency shall produce the TrainingCertificates of workmen n supervisors whenever insistedby HPCL.5. Specification for system scaffolding shall be strictly asper MNT/ONS/MWP/14 attached with the tender. Nodeviation in scope of scaffolding job and parametersmentioned above is accepted and incase any deviation isobserved, agency will be penalised accordingly. For eachdeviation, agency will be levied a minimum penaltyamount of Rs.1200/- and repeated deviations will attractappropiate action like terminating the contract.6. Height of scaffolding is measured upto top gaurd railpipe (i.e. max. 1mtr from top working platform). Incasevariation in height of scaffolding, payment will be madeon pro-rata basis. For example, if height of scaffolding is 4mtr from the ground level, quantity of item payable will be1.333, System Scaffolding - In Open S Long Description: JOB SCOPE: Same as mentioned for Item no 17101026.RATE PAYABLE:Per block of size 2.5m x 2.5m x 3m erected and dismantled at a height above 6 mtr n upto 12 mtr from the ground level, System Scaffolding - Applicabl Long Description: JOB SCOPE:This item is applicable for all scaffolding carried out above 30 mts height from ground level.For Outside Scaffolding: Scope is same as mentioned in item 17101026RATE PAYABLE:Rate Payable per scaffolding block of size up to 2.5m x 2.5m x 3m erected n dismantled above 30 meters from theground level
