1	GRASS BUSH CLEARING: Clearing the area of grasses, bushes, wild growth, light jungle, scuba grasses, julie flora, elephant grasses and trees up to 300 mm girth (measured at 1 m height aboveground level) excluding uprooting, up to ground level; along road side berms / drains, under pipelines / structures, tank farms, yards, around the buildings etc. manually/ by JCB/ or using petrol / diesel operated Brush CutterMachines (as per site condition & advice of EIC) and scraping cut grass, vegetation"s, trees completely from existing ground level. 4	CHOPPING FALLEN TREES: Providing services by deploying 1 chain saw cutting machine of petrol run engine of Hitachi / Honda /Maax / Mitsubishi / Kawasaki / Ouligen / Bosch make of minimum 50 cc capacity / 3HP Power and minimum 20" bar length with chain pitch of 0.325 inch. for cutting / chopping down of weak / fallen trees including removal of the branches and roots to a lead of 100 metres and stacking themusing 1 skilled operator for running the petrol driven wood cutting saw machine and 3 semi-skilled workmen for assistance with necessary tools and tackles such as manual saw, crow bar, cutting knife, ropes, other tools required to carryout the job etc. The serviceable material shall be stacked at designated places inside the CPCL premises & unserviceable materials shall be bundled into heaps and disposed within a lead of 4 Km with contractor"s own transport, all tools, tackles, labor etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.(Unit of measurement shall be lumpsum per day).Cost includes charges of petrol / oil and other consumables for running the machine, stacking, disposal charges and all labor, tools, supervision, transportation etc.
5	EARTH WORK EXCAVATION: Earth work in excavation inall types of soil ,includingsoft or hard murrum, but excluding soft and hard rock, using mechanical means(Hydraulic Excavators) / Manually for depth up to 1.5m,including removal of vegetation, shrubs and debris, cutting and dressing of sides in slopes, levelling, grading and ramming of bottoms, dewatering of accumulated/sub-soil water from any source and keeping the surface dry for subsequent works and disposal or stacking of excavated material within a lead of 100m, as directed including providing temporary supports to existing service lines like water pipes,sewage pipes, electricunderground cables, etc.all complete as per the specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
6	Same as item Item No.50 but for depths beyond 1.5m up to 3.0m
7	Same as Item No.50 but for depths beyond 3 m up to 4.5 m
8	BACKFILLING: Back filling the available excavated earth in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers for all depth consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.
