3Off grid cum Hygrid Conditioning Unit:As SPV array produce direct current electricity, it is necessary to convert this direct current into alternating current and adjust the voltage levels to match the grid voltage. Conversion shall be achieved using an electronic Inverter and the associated control and protection devices. All these components of the system are termed the “Power Conditioning Unit (PCU)”. 5The PV modules shall be mounted on fixed metallic structures having adequate strength and as per specifications of solar module which can withstand the load of the modules and high wind velocities. The array structure will be made of pre galvanized sheet steel of size not less than 50mm x 50mm x 6mm size/Aluminium (L-angle – 50mm x 50mm x 5mm, U-channel – 33mm x 30mm x 33mm x 3mm). The support structure shall be hot dip galvanized steel or aluminium.
