Name of Work: Hiring of services for Depth mapping & Soil survey (Geotechnical Survey) below Shiplift platform of NSRY (Kar).

1(a) Seabed depth mapping/measurement along the length (175 meter) & width (28 meter) of shiplift platform with suitable means (guideline/plumbline/echo-sounder) at following locations:-(i) Every pair of hoist (total 21 pairs of hoists located 8.5 meters apart) at port, stbd and center.(ii) Between (center point) of every hoist pair (4.25 meter distance from every hoist) at port, stbd & center.(iii) At every hoist pocket.(iv) Any other point as indicated by NSRY(Kar).
2(b) Soil quality assessment below the shiplift platform upto a depth of five meters at minimum three locations (landside, middle & center; locations will be indicated by NSRY) for providing details soil/seabed which can be encountered during maintenance.(c)Rendering of Detailed Report on the above aspects in way of crystallization of SoW (Scope of Work) involved in actual maintenance dredging upto 5 meters depth below shiplift platform and along the total area of shiplift (175 m length * 28 meter width) and taking into account hoist pockets dredging. The firm has to ensure assessment of soil/seabed quality through an accredited lab or agency. Boring upto 5 meters depth will be required at the indicated three locations for soil quality assessment.
