Deep- screening at difficult location of track ballast 200 mm (+/-10mm)below bottomof sleepers and screening of complete ballast sectioni.e from toe of Existing ballast profile on cess side to the mid of failway of two lines of ballast ,through sieve of specified size. This includes , opening of basllast, digging down 200mm belowthe bottom of sleepers takingout clacked up ballast and muck etc. from the entireexisting ballastsection, putting back screened ballast as per required ballastprofile , redistributing it within a free leadof100 mtr . Wherever requiredas per direction of Engineer- in- charge or his authorized representative at site, grading the formation bedin a slope of 1 in 40 to the edge of formation, cutting of cess , if required for ensuring cross slope and effective drainage ,dressing of cessand ballast to proper profile as per direction ofEngineer-in- charge or his authorizedrepresentative at site. The work also includes kutcha packing follwed by one round of through packing.
