| 1 | 1.Carrying out Soil Investigation as per relevant IS:1892 for the Name of work as mentioned above, complete all as specified and directed including the following:- (a)Boring 150 mm dia hole at various locations as shown at site by Engineer-in- Charge in any kind of soil but excluding rock, collection of undisturbed sample atevery 1.00 m depth. Collection of disturbed sample at suitable depth as required atsite. Conducting Standard penetration test as per relevant IS as an interval of 1.5 m Upto depth 1.5m -04 BH . 2. Carrying out following laboratory tests on the soil samples as per IS codes:- (a)Sieve analysis and Hydrometer tests for identification and classification of soil based on properties and grain size. (b) Specific gravity of the soil. (c) Studies of settlement characteristics of soil based on consolidation tests andliquid and plastic limits. (d)Stratification of soil for entire depth of bore log including ground water table locations . (e) Nature moisture content (NMC), Void ratio and porosity, Tri-Axial and directshear test and unconfined compression test of undisturbedsamples and Bulk,submerged and Dry Density of the soil. 3. Compilation ofField and Laboratory test results, Preparation of reports, Recommendation for different type of foundations, water table,submission of all report booklets 05 (Five) copies with CD 01 (One) copy duly indicating the following:- (a)Evaluation of safe bearing capacity of the soil with respect to shear failure test and permissible settlement(Total and differential) alongwith recommendation about type of foundation and minimum depth of foundation to be adopted. (b) Specific suggestion if any for soil treatment if required below foundation/ground floor/Roads and type of treatment to be carried out. (c)Bore log diagram duly showing the different layers of strata met alongwith their depths. |
