1Material & Labour for properly cleaning and disinfecting clear water storage tank (Overhead RCC Reservoir) of capacity 1 Lakh Gallon at 17-25 meter high staging from ground level by mechanised water storage cleaning and disinfection process comprising six stage cleaning process as under :- (a) DEWATERING :Dewatering the tank with portable submersible pumps of adequate capacity. (b) SLUDGE REMOVAL : De-silting and removal of left over dirty water/ sludge/ mud with specially designed sucking unit non clogging pump for sludge removal. (c) HIGH PRESSURE CLEANING AND SCRUBBING : Cleaning of walls, ceiling and floor by high pressure water jet mixed with detergent / cleaning agent appropriate for tank cleaninghaving rotary as well as flat jets for effective cleaning of the nooks, walls and corners and then scrubbing for sticky stain (if required). (d) VACCUM CLEANING: Wet and dry vaccum cleaning for moping of all dirt particles and residual sludge present in the reservoir by industrial vaccum cleaner.
2(e) ANTI BACTERIAL AGENT: Disinfecting the tank inner surface from all harmful pathogens by spraying non toxic, 100% biodegradable in nature, eco friendly, antibacterial agent certified by NTC, a Govt approved laboratory. Non toxicity as per OECD guideline 423 adopted on 17th Dec 2001. (f) RADIATION : Treating the inside tank by exposing the surface and space to ultra violet (UV) radiation having bactericidal wave length to kill any possible residual bacteria in the reservoir walls/floor/ceiling/space inside the reservoir

(b) SLUDGE REMOVAL: De-silting and removal of left over dirty water/ sludge/ mud with special designed sucking unit non clogging pump for sludge removal. (c) HIGH PRESSURE CLEANING AND SCRUBBING : Cleaning of walls, ceiling and floor by high pressure water jet having rotary as well as flat jets for effective cleaning of the nooks, walls and corners and then scrubbing for sticky stain (if required).
11(d) VACCUM CLEANING: Wet and dry vaccum cleaning for moping of all dirt particles and residual sludge present in the reservoir by industrial vaccum cleaner. 17Material & Labour for properly cleaning and disinfecting 32.00 Lakh Gallons capacity semi under ground open raw water sump comprising of following 06 (six) stages complete all as specified and as directed:- (a) DEWATERING :Dewatering the water from sump by any mechnical means including portable submersible or other pumps of adequate capacity. (b) SLUDGE REMOVAL: De-silting and removal of left over dirty water/ sludge/ mud with specially designed sucking unit non clogging pump for sludge removal. (c) HIGH PRESSURE CLEANING AND SCRUBBING : Cleaning of walls and floor by high pressure water jet scrubbing the complete inner surfaces of wall and floor with wire brushes and cleaning with water again and again to achieve cleaned surface.
18(d) DISINFECTING : Washing the cleaned surface of wall and floor completely with water using bleaching powder and thereafter applying 02 coats of lime wash, thick in viscosity, as specified, to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(e) Cleaningthe surrondings of the sump from outer edge of sump to 3.00 metre comprising of uprooting bushes, removing grass / vegetation, fillings in depressions with good earth, levelling, the ground to entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and removing rubbish to outside the MoD land. (f) Constructing a plate of size 1.00 m x 0.50 m with cement mortar 1:4 on outerwall of sump, painting with black paint and writing in bold with white paint, date of cleaning of the sump, complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
19All as per the description of serial item No 15 here in above but of capacity 100.00 Lakh Gallons.
20Material & Labour for carefully washing out settled mud,alum,flocculant etcfrom FlOCCULATOR , flaculator tank 12.19 dia 4.5 mtr depth including external channels, chambers and outlet etc. Drainning out complete waste water from tank by mannually or mechanical arrangment cleaning of bottom, all internal side walls, channel by using brooms, wiper or nylon brush ,up to satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and applying one coat of super quality lime to internal & external surface complete all as directed.
21All as per the description of serial No 17 here in above but flocculator, 0.15 lakh gln capacityincluding lime & Alum mixing chambers 03 Nos, intake chamber complete all as specified and directed.
22Material & Labour for washing /cleaning of rapid sand gravity filter 02 Nos mannually byscrapping out upper layer (appx 10 cm) for removing forigen material/mud etc and cleaningside wall / tiles portion including flushingmud waterby using valve & compressor.Aapplying one coat of white washincluding laying fresh sand to makeuplevel of sand in filter bedup to required level which decrease due to daily backwashing of filter bed, complete all as specified and directed.
23Material & Labour for cleaning/ taking out sludge, soil, stones,grass etcfromof open jack well drain 5.18 mtr dia 4.5 mtr depth and spreading/ levelingoutside 10 mete from drainincluding applying one coat of white wash at main filter pump house complete all as specified and directed.
24Material & Labour for areacleaning of water supply installation including clearing of vegitation, wild growth and trimming of grass etc in and around the water storage tanks, valve pits and installation compound and removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.
25Supply only flexible sheated copper cable of size 1.5 Sqmm, 2 core, including making connection to obstruction light complete all as specified and directed.
26Material & Labour for complete removal of existing finishes with wire brush emary paper/steel patti prepartion of previously treated/pld painted surface of CI/DI/MS pipes line of any sizein vertical/horizontal position and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer (blue or black shade ),duly marked inlet/outlet direction,overflow, washout at various water installationcomplete all as specified and directed in colours as under:- (a) Rising pipe: Red colour, (b) Delvery pipe:Blue colour (c) overflow pipe: Yellow pipe (d)washout pipe :Green colour. NOTE: Quted rate is deemed to be included arrangment of stage/ladder for painting work.
27Supply and fixing glow signage boards with base frame made from angle iron and backside from ACP sheet 3mm thick with IP 68 protection LED module, good quality virgin monomer Acrylic sheet, 3 inch rising moulding of acrylic letter with 5mm sun board channel, including complete wiring and SMPS power supply with IP 68 protection, Each letter will be made with computer offset for having same letter style and type as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, complete all as specified and directed.
28Dismantling of Water pipe line(CI) upto 350mm dia appx 100 RM Including all fitting and Sluice Valve at Main Filter Pump House complete to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and depositing in store yard of AGE E/M-II, all as directed.
29Material & Labour forpainting with supper enameled synthetic paint after scrapping out and prepration of surface of open CI/GI pipeline up to 450 mm dia appx 600 RM, sluce valves appx 25 Nos, and railling of flacualtor, fire point, In/out get, floculator paddel, 2 x main gate and supporting including writting existing matter arrow marking the pipe line etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

32M&L for Bacteriological/Chemical testing and analysis with preparation of detailed report as per IS 10500:1991 after collection of samples at various locations at Chandimandir Mil Stn all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE: (a) the testing will be conducted by Govt Approved Labs only (b) the contractor will make suitable arrangements for collection of sample water at various locations with prior intimation to Engr-in-Charge.
33Supply only DOL starter for induction motor capacity of 1 HP to 3 HP Three phase ,415 V, 50 Hz as per specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
34Supply and fixing, in repairs (including taking up / down old valve) cast ironnon rising sluice valve, of size 100 mm bore with wheelSS spindle, flanged ends PN-1.6 ISI marked as per IS:14846/ 2000 and CI operating wheel including gasket, nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified & directed.( Weight -34 Kg) and depositing old valve in store yard of AGE E/M-II, all as directed.
35All as per the description of serial item No 31 here in above but 150 mm bore (Weight -62 Kg)
36All as per the description of serial item No 31 here in above but 200 mm bore(Weight- 100 Kg ) Note:-The existingSluice valve to be deposited to AGE E/M-II Store Yard, all as directed.
37NOTES FOR ITEM No 1 TO 21(a) Contractor will make alternate arrangement to make sure of water supply to consumer or cleaning of tank in alaternate days to avoid hampering of water supply, the same will be done as per instruction and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Entire materials labour, engineer, supervisor, plant & tools required for executing the work and for safety of persons deployed on the work shall be contractor’s arrangement and responsibility.
38(c) Before completion of work in each reservoir, writing letters or figures for date of cleaning and capacity of tank with synthetic enamel paint with black background & letters / numbers in white colour & words size 10cm height on tank with contractors name and due date for next cleaning shall be marked on the reservoir by the contractor without any extra cost to department .(d) All safety measure and procedure including insurance of deployed personals and to ensure safe execution of cleaning, disinfecting, radiation and finishing process of entire work shall be contractor"s responsibility without any extra cost to department.
39(e) In case the work in each stage of cleaning, disinfecting, finishing etc is found carried out inferior to the contract specifications & provisions and the work is still found to be technically, hygienically acceptable, the work will be devalued and recovery from contractor shall be made as to be decided by the competent authority in terms of condition 46 of IAFW-2249 amended up to date.(f) Refer special conditions of the contract for recovery rate of water and electricity required for execution of the work, if supplied by MES.
40NOTES:-(i) No T&P will be issued by the department for doing the above work, it shall be arranged and provided by the contractor Like Motor ,pump for dewaterning of water ,wair brush, Bleaching Powder, lime ,ladder up to 30 mtr /Scaffolding up to 30 mtrif required etc.(ii) Necessary T&P , pumping set, Dewatering pump , Sludge Removal pump ,pipes etc shall be arranged by the contractor. Required safety equipments such as hand gloves, headgears, masks, gum boots, oxygen gas cylinders etc shall also be arranged by the contractor. Labour trained in cleaning of OHT, semi under ground/above ground water reservoir/tanks sumps shall only be deployed to carry out the above job. Entire responsibility for safety of the deployed labour shall be of the cotractor and deptt shall not be responsible for any mishappening or any type of loss occured during the execution of above job. Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of all the above factors and no extra payment shall be made for the same.
