7PART-IV (APPROACHES TONENGPUILUI-I NALLAH AT KM 116.815)
8Jungle clearance including cutting down trees not exceeding 30 cm girth measured at 1 meter above ground level and clearing away shrubs brushwood undergrowth and grubbing up roots in areas having annual rainfall more than 200 cm.
9Earthwork in embankment by filling with earth free from roots etc. spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm including watering and finishing to required slope & level not exceeding 1.5 m high above the base in ordinary soil in hill roads where cut & fill method is adopted.
10Rough excavation in soil/soil mixed with boulders getting out and disposing all excavated materials lead upto 2 m and upto 1.5 m deep (75% machine and 25% manual labour).
11Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.2 m width and 1.5 m depth in soil/soil mixed with boulders (SMB), including dressing bottom and sides getting out and disposing all excavated material lead upto 6 m and lift upto 1.5 m. (by manual means)
12Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 cement: 4 sand: 8 stone aggregate of size 4cm graded downwards) in foundation or elsewhere (excluding the cost of centering/shuttering).
13Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 (1cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 stone aggregate size 4cm graded downwards) in foundation or elsewhere (excluding the cost of centering/shuttering).
14Random/Polygonal rubble walling in Cement mortar (1:6) brought to course 45 cm heigh, well bonded with through/bond stones evenly spaced @ 2 Nos per sqm of wall face
15Walling of rubble stone laid dry well bonded faced with selected stones and built with bond or through stones evenly spaced @ 2 Nos per sqm of wall face.
16Filling of stones/ selected material in layers well packed behind retaining walls, breast walls, abutment/wing walls of bridges or culverts (labour and material)
17Flush pointing on stone work with cement mortar (1 cement : 3 sand)
18White washing 2 coats prepared by slaking freshly burnt Class ‘C’ limeconforming to IS 712-1964the qty of gum to beused shall be @ 4 kg/cum of cream
19Preparation of sub-grade in SMB by excavating upto 20 cm averagedepth, dressingexcavated earth to required camber or super elevation and consolidatingwith power roller including watering & disposal of surplus earth within a lead of 30 Mtr.
20GSB 15 cm thick (compacted )with stone aggregate conforming to grading No 1 as per Tables-400-1 of MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge Works including supply of material, watering and compaction all complete.
21WBM 75 mm consolidated thickness of stone metalsize 63 mm to 45 mm, grading No 1, as per Table-400-9 with type ‘A’ screening as per Table 400-10 and satisfying the physical requirement as per Table-400-8 of MORT&H specifications, spread, rolled, hollow made up to form true surface blinded and compacted to gradient and camber required all as specified.
22Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 using bitumen pressure distributor @ 2.5 Kg/10 Sqm on prepared bituminous/granular surfacecleaned with mechanical broom, all complete as per clause 503 of MoSRT&H specifications
23Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer@ 7.50 Kg per 10 Sqm. (using BPD with manual labour)
24Preparing of WBM surface including scrubbing,cleaning, applying evenly a tack coat of bitumen (grade 80/100) @ 3 kg/10 sqmof road surface, laying and consolidating pre-coated stone chips 0.343 cum of stone chips (13.2 mm – 0.229 cum-passing 22.4 mm sieve and retained on 11.2 mm sieve – 0.114 cum-passing 13.2 mm sieve and retained on 5.6 mm sieve) mixed with 18.65 Kg of binder (grade 80/100), applying a premixed sand seal coat 0.06 cum sand (passing 2.36 mm and retained on 180 micron sieve) with binder (80/100) 6.83Kg/10sqm and rolling complete as specified, total consolidated thickness 2.5 cm (using tar boiler mixing and spreading with manual labour) (using Fire wood)
