1. The work consists of fabrication & supply of open Insulator testing machine shed of size8*8*9(min ht) roofing with min 0.60mm thick pre-profile pre-coated steel sheet (I) Attached document i)Justification ii) Safety Audit inspection note iii) budgetary iv) technical specification 2. Design criteria:- (a) SeismicCo-efficient - As per Seismic Zone (b) Snow load - 1 meter standing on roof (c) Wind load - Equivalent to windspeed of 55 mtrs/sec as per IS 875-1987 (d) Roof Slope - 1:8. (e) Load combination of design - As per ISprovisions 3. Design data for Insulator testing machine shed:- (a) Length - 8 (out to out wall) (b) Width - 8 (out toout wall) (c) Height - 9 clear height from finished floor level to the surface 4. Structural Members:- (a) Columns,Rafters & Purlins. All column, rafters & purlins will be made of rectangular/square hollow tube section & structural.main columns will be of Rectangular Hollow Section (RHS) shed/ 02 & 04. All the members like rafter, purlin &columns will be fixed with Welded. (b) Base Plateform or Foundation:- SIZE 1200mm*1200mm*300mm withfinished. (c) The roof will have minimum projection of 300mm from the inner surface of column on all the four sideas shown. (d) Roofing sheets shall have minimum side overlap of one full corrugation end. 5. All side are coveredwith steel wire cage with one side entry gate arrangement as per requirements. 6. External Wall & Partition WallCladding of stores:- (a) The walls will consist of Pre-coated Pre-colored cage with necessary fixing arrangement.(b) The adjacent profiled sheet will have a min overlap of one corrugation as applicable. (c) Suitable fastener orscrew type rivets will be provided for fixing pre-coated sheets to runners (d) Runner will be provided for eachpartition wall and external wall at a spacing of 1025m in between each other. Runner will be RHS Box type
