Tender For Integrated Development Of Kadri Park Area In Kadri, Mangaluru -1 Supplying and installation of Double Post Swing suitable for children Age 4 years to 14 years. The swing shall be installed in an area of 3.5 x 1.0 M and allows a swinging area within 4.5 M x 2.0 M. The leg support of the single post swing made up of 100 NB while the top bar is of 50 NB powder coated G.I. pipes, two swings made up of 10mm thick skid reinforced,seats of the single support swing made up of 10mm thickness anti-skid rubber, rubber seat suspended on 8 mm thick G.I. chain and ball bearings are mounted inside a specially designed nylon clamp. The swing seat shall adhere safety standard according to EN1176-2. All junctions between structural poles and horizontal beam shall guarantee the maximum structural consistency that avoids any vibration or shaking during swinging. Swing chain shall be made of stainless steel straight link calibrated chain with straight links grind in AISI-316 stainless steel.Swing chain shall include grid spacing necessary to avoid fingers’ pinching with a minimum section of 6 to 7 mm. The cost shall include the charges of material, labour, accessories, transportation and all other charges necessary for successful execution of the work as per the instructions of incharge Executive Engineer, MSCL. 2 Supply and installation of Slide for children Age 4 years to 12 years. The slide of height 1.5 M shall be installed in an area of 0.5 x 3.5 M and allows a safe play area of 1.5 x 5.0 M. The slide is made up of Fibre reinforced plastic (FRP) having thickness of 3-4mm with sufficient reinforcement given to acquire proper strength to the module.The platform is supported on vertical 80NB powder coated G.I. pipes.The railing provided to the platform to be made from LLDPE and it is supported by 20 NB G.I. pipe.The ladder shall be made up of 25 NB G.I. pipe and with steps of 16 SWG. Ladder to be designed in such a way it won't entrap child's foot while playing. The 'T' support under the slide is made up of 80 NB G.I. pipe. Slide set should strictly adhere safety standard according to EN1176. Sliding surface must be suitable for areas with extreme heat, preferred in HDPE or equivalent.Sliding surface and side panels must be highly resistant to chemical agents and corrosion, resistant to the outdoors, discoloration and UV rays. All fiber components shall have guarantee against plastic deterioration and fading for 3 years minimum. The see-saw shall be installed in an area of 2.5 x 3.0 M and shall allow a safe play area of 3.5 x 1.3 M. The seats of the see saw are made from Roto moulded plastic. The lever is made up of 15,20,25 NB G.I. pipes and is fitted on 40 NB G.I. pipe.The bearing used is of heavy duty bush type. All plastic components shall have guarantee against plastic deterioration and fading for 3 years minimum.The cost shall include the charges of material, labour, accessories, transportation and all other charges necessary for successful execution of the work as per the instructions of incharge Executive Engineer, MSCL. 4 Supplying and installation of merry-go-round suitable for age-group of 4-12 years. The merry-go-round shall be installed in an area of diameter 2.15 M and shall allow a safe play area of diameter of 2.80 M. The play equipment shall comprise of Platform made of 11 G rolled edge of 100 mm thick, 35 mm dia pipe for handrails and 76.2 mm dia pipe for post and shall be finished using EPOXY Primer and enamel Paint . The cost shall include the charges of material, labour, accessories, transportation and all other charges necessary for successful execution of the work as per the instructions of incharge Executive Engineer, MSCL. 5 WALL MURALS Providing a broken vitrified/ceramic tiles/ 3D cement sculptural wall mural of approved design based on selected them using brick work of well burnt clay bricks in cement mix of 1:5 and plastering in cement mix of 1:3 and pre-finishing with exterior grade cement putty as required and finishing using exterior grade acrylic paints, enamel paints or metal paints or glazed/ceramic/tile materials as required by design. The rate shall include brick and tile cutting, cost of materials, accessories, shaping, moulding, cladding, scaffolding, curing, artistic and design input from the vendor and handing over in clean condition. The selected theme may consist of ‘Mangaluru history/art & culture/ nature and may include human, animal and plant figures’ on which artistic input shall be given. The work shall be executed as per the instructions of incharge Executive Engineer of MSCL. There shall be several murals, all located at ground level not exceeding 3.5 m in height having total area not less than 125 Sqm. 6 SCULPTURES Providing Karkala grey granite/ black granite/ coloured stone sculpture as required by design as per selected theme. The sculpture shall have maximum base of 3 m x 3 m and maximum height of 4 m. The selected theme may consist of abstract design and/or nature. Granite may be required to be sculpted/textured/moulded/dressed as required by the proposed design. Cost shall include artistic and design input from the vendor, cost of materials, labour, finishing, transportation, erection at site and handing over of finished sculpture. Each 11 PRECAST ITEMS Providing and fixing RCC precast coping of size 1.20 m x 0.35m x 0.06m casted in CC 1:1.5:3 with 20mm downsize aggregate using 8 mm dia TMT steel rods in required nos. as stirrups and horizontal bars using steel moulding, curing, transportation to work spot including using of plain cement mortar 1:3 and holdfast of 8 mm diameter TMT steel rod of 100 mm length shall be provided in two places below the coping for fixing to masonry. The coping shall have finishing on top and on sides as required by design for use as intermediate/corner/end coping as per site condition including aligning to plumb and line. The quality of the concrete may also be assessed by compressive strength as per IS : 456-1978. The cost shall include bare cost of all materials, labour, hire charge of machinery, lead, lift, loading & unloading etc., complete. The work shall be carried out as per the detailed specifications, drawings and directions of the Architect of the PMC and incharge Executive Engineer of MSCL. Rmt 12 Providing and fixing Precast Bollard of 750mm height and 200 mm dia cast in M-30 Grade Concrete with Ordinary Portland Cement using vibro-compaction technique for a compressive strength of concrete for 30MPa at 28 days. Reinforcements include fabrication of micro trusses using 4.7 mm Torkari TMT Bars and 3 mm MS Rods and they are welded to achieve the required shape. The half portions of Bollards to be manufactured separately using M-30 grade concrete and reinforced with fabricated micro trusses and then joined together using high performance mortar and surface finished with cement grout which makes uniformly smooth textured surface without any bug holes and smooth mold seams. Paint finish: Putty finish with acrylic paint of approved color as per directions. The bollards shall be installed in an excavated pit of size 0.3 m x 0.3 m x 0.3m in the ground and bottom 0.3 m of the bollard is fixed inside the ground level and remaining gap to be filled with PCC of 1:2:4 at the locations and levels as per the drawing indicated.The cost shall include excavation, bare cost of all materials, cost of reinforcements, transportation charges, fixing charges, labour etc., The work shall be carried out as per the detailed specifications , drawings and directions of the Architect of the PMC and incharge Executive Engineer of MSCL. Reinforcements include fabrication of micro trusses using 4.7 mm Torkari TMT Bars and 3 mm MS Rods and they are welded to achieve the required shape. 12 mm dia x 130 mm long galvanised countersunk bolts with stainless steel nut cap shall be used to connect the seating plank with leg of the bench. The bench shall be made of two number of legs of given design with 50mm thickness and seating plank of 1500 x 480 x 50 mm using M-30 grade concrete. Each leg is reinforced with fabricated micro truss. Each concrete plank is reinforced with fabricated micro truss and wire mesh. Each plank will have 4 no. of 12 mm dia 130mm length galvanized countersunk bolts to fix with leg. The bench shall be finished with cement grout of uniformly smooth texture without any bug holes and smooth mold seams and finished with exterior grade cement putty. No 14 Providing and fixing of Precast Benches (with backrest and armrest) of size 1500 mm x 480 mm x 450 mm, arm length of 520 mm, which is cast using M30 grade concrete with Ordinary Portland Cement by using vibro-compaction technique for a compressive strength of concrete for 30MPa at 28 days. Reinforcements include fabrication of micro trusses using 4.7 mm Torkari TMT Bars and 3 mm MS Rods and they are welded to achieve the required shape. Wire mesh should be provided at seating planks to improve the strength. Two number of legs using M-30 grade concrete as per the given design with 50mm thickness. Each leg is reinforced with fabricated micro truss. Seating plank of size 1360mm x480mm shall be cast using M-30 grade concrete. Each concrete plank is reinforced with fabricated micro truss and wire mesh. Resting plank shall be of the size 1360 mm x 230 mm which is reinforced with fabricated micro truss. Seating and resting planks shall be fixed to the leg using 12 mm dia x 130 mm long galvanised countersunk bolts with stainless steel nut cap. The planter bowl shall be rested on a 2 level precast pedestal of 450 x 450 x 100 mm as upper and 800 x 800 x 100 mm as base level. Provision for drain hole of 12mm inside diameter should be provided. The planter bowl shall be finished with cement grout of uniformly smooth texture without any bug holes and smooth mold seams and finished with exterior grade cement putty. Reinforcements include fabrication of micro-trusses using 9.5 mm Torkari TMT Bars and 6 mm MS rods and they are welded to achieve the required shape. The bollard shall be fixed at site as per the anchoring style given in the drawing. Each 28 Providing and fixing of precast ferrocement table of 750mm above FFL having 550 x 550 x 30 mm table top with 100 mm diameter single leg. The table top shall be finished with 600 x 600 one side polished black granite of 18 mm thick with edge rounding finish fixed using approved adhesive. The single leg shall have additional length of minimum 0.3m height for fixing into ground at site into concrete foundation as per approved drawing. Each 29 STAINLESS STEEL EQUIPMENTS Dustbins - Supply and installation of twin hanging waste bins of 60 Litre capacity each supported on SS 304 legs with openable lids at top of the frame as per drawing. The structure should be done with adequate balancing to withstand the probable weight of the wastes, own weight of the bins with installation mechanism and eventual shock and impact during operation and handling of the bins. The poles made of SS 304 of nominal bore 65 mm with minimum wall thickness 1.8 mm including 1 no. of bush on both side of bins for tilting to empty the garbage. Locking arrangement with 8 mm SS handle should be provided at the bottom to facilitate easy collection of waste. The length of the pole should be such that the top of waste bins should not be at a height of more than 1.2 m above the finished ground level and base plate. Base plate assembly in 304 grade stainless steel with minimum 3 bolt system for each leg shall be provided. Base plate holdfast embedment below ground level should be adequate (not less than 0.3 m). Each base plate should be fixed with foundation in cement concrete (1:2:4) below the ground/surface level using hard black granite chips of 12mm to 20mm size and coarse sand. Provide one number of angle hold fast at the bottom of baseplate inside the concrete to ensure stability and balance of the mounting. Job 30 Water Purifier and Dispenser - Supply and installation of ISO:9001 certified water purifier and dispenser of compact design, single water cooler with inbuilt purifier unit having maximum dimension within 640 x 450 x 1350 mm (W x D x H) and minimum water cooling capacity of 150 Litres/ hour . It should have tough, hygienic and durable body with storage(150 Litres capacity in tank of SS 304 material) cum cooler and Purifier facility(minimum 2 circuits) in a single unit. It should have two no. of faucets (one water at room temperature and one chilled) with water flow rate of at least 1 Litres/min. The entire body is corrosion resistant which prevents rusting and helps maintain hygiene standards, should have at least purification process comprising of: Stage 1: To remove physical impurities like dust, dirt, clay particles etc. using the micro porous, heavy duty sediment filter candle of polypropylene and silver impregnated activated carbon or equivalent. Stage 2: To remove chlorine along with its by-products and other organic impurities for reducing unpleasant odour, taste and colour using specially-treated activated-carbon or equivalent.
