Name of Work:TENDER FOR “HIRING OF MACHINERIES OF JCB, ESCORT CRANE, PAY LOADER AND SUPPLY OF MAN POWER FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE WORK OF RE-ALIGNMENT OF CENTRE MEDIAN BLOCKS, REMOVAL OF DAMAGED SLAB / REPLACING WORK AND POT HOLE FILLING WORK AT NORTHERN DIVISION

1.Hire charges for engaging JCB for digging, loosening and removing the deposited earth mixed with spillages, debris,unwanted damaged slabs, heaps and other obstructions if any etc. along roads side and wharfs, desilting the storm water drain and realigning the centre median blocks and to attend emergency/essential works as directed at site of work in the Northern Division area includinghire charges for equipments, fuel, tools, operator etc complete. Notes: 1. Minimum working hours of JCB is 4 hrs / day. 2. The payment will be made for the actual time of the work done by the machineries excluding break down time and mobilizing / demobilizing hours and idling time.3.The time chart for every day of the work shall be maintained jointly by department and contractor.4.The above machineries should be made readily available whenever required by the department.

2.Hire charges for engaging Escort crane of 12 T capacity for fixing / removing of fenders at wharfs and realigning the centre median blocks and also to attend emergency/essential work as directed at site of work in the Port premises including the equipments hire charges, fuel, tools, operator etc complete.Notes: 1.Minimum working hours of Escort Crane and Pay loader is 4 hrs / day. 2.The payment will be made for the actual time of the work done by the machineries excluding breakdown time and mobilizing/demobilizing hours and idling time.3.The time chart for every day of the work shall be maintained jointly by department and contractor.4. The above machineries should be made readily available whenever required by the department

3.Hire charges for engaging the Pay loader for levelling the undulation work, loading the debris, unwanted damaged slabs, heaps, rubbish, garbages, cleaning works along road sides etc. and also to attend emergency / essential works as directed at site of work in the Northern Division area including hire charges for equipments, fuel, tools and operator etc complete. Notes:1.Minimum working hours of Pay loader is 4 hrs/ day. 2. The payment will be made for the actual time of the work done by the machineries excludingbreak down time and mobilizing/demobilizing hours and idling time.3.The time chart for every day of the work shall be maintained jointly by department and contractor. 4.The above machineries should be made readily available whenever required by the department.

4.Deployinglabours for assisting the work of realignment of centre median cement concrete block while usingmachineries around EE(C)Northern Division daily including removing and stacking the materials like damaged precast cover slabs to nearby area, desilting the storm water drains and to clear the water stagnation during the monsoon period and fillingpot holes in the road surface and other emergency works, allas directed at site of work including all labour, tools, equipments etc., complete.Note:1.The contractor should supply the Mazdoor Class I as and when required by the department.2.The contractor has to maintain Mustor Roll register at his own cost, Mustor Roll will be checked periodically by the department. 3.Payment will be made based on the Mustor Roll as maintained by the contractor
