| 1 | Earth work in excavation for foundation of bridge structures (Abutments) in all depths as per drawingand MORTH specification clause 304 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock(where blasting is prohibited). All type of classifications of soil bymanual / mechinical means comprising of ordinary rock, soft rock, / Hard rock as per drawing and technical specfication and as per direction of Engineer -In - Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and other incidential.Hauling and stacking ofuseful materialsfor construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner triming filling of unevenness blindage and finishing of the brigde siteto specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundationshall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dulycompensated by him in all cases. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST , Labour cess, or other taxes imposed by the Government. |
