Bids Are invited for PPGI Metal Ceiling Panel - Specifications of PPGI Metal Ceiling Panel and InstallationProviding and fixing tiled false ceiling of of size 600x 600 mm in true horizontal level suspended on inter locking Matrix 38 metal grid of hot dipped galvanized steel sections (galvanized @ 120 gms /sqm, both side inclusive) consisting of 3600mm long main T runner size 24x38mm and 0.30mm thick, 1200mm long cross T of size 24x25mm and 0.30mm thick, 600mmsecondary cross T of size 24x25mm and 0.30mm thick and PPGI wall angle of size 24x24mm and 0.4mm thick. Bottom exposed capping of width 24 mm of all T sections shall be of 0.25mm thick PPGI. Wall angle is fixed along the perimeters of the ceiling to Walls, partitions or columns etc. with rawl plugs and wooden screws at 300mm centers. Main T runners are then suspended from ceiling using GI slotted cleats of size 27 x 37 x 25 x1.6 mm fixed to ceiling with 8 mm dia and 45mm long dash fasteners, 4mm GI adjustable rods with galvanised butterfly level clips of size 85 x 30 x 0.8 mm spaced at max 1200mm center to center along main T, and not more than 150mm from spliced joints. The last hanger at the end of each main runner should not be greater than 600mm from the adjacent wall. Then 1200mm long cross T is interlocked between the main T at 600mm center to center to form a grid of 1200x600 mm and then secondary cross “T of length 600mm is then interlocked at middle of the 1200x600mm grid to form grids of 600x600mm. Cross Tees at the ends having length more than 600mm are to be supported independently.Finally T-24, Reveal edge powder coated perforated metal tiles of size (595x595)mm having 60- 65 micron powder coating on face side, 9 mm drop and overall thickness 0.5mm, made of galvanized iron (120GSM galvanizing), NRC=0.5 with an open area of >18% with diagonal perforations of 1.8mm diameter @ pitch of 2.5mm in (557x557)mm area & backed by black coloured acoustic fleece, is placed in the grid.
