Tender For Maintenance Of Various Horticulture Works In Steel Township -Planting of saplings/trees/shrubs including ornamental plants in gardens in the pit by making pot holes, applying basal dose of manures and fertilizers and pressing soil in the planting area by removing the container, digging and refilling the soil after plantation works and disposal of the container out of the plantation site and watering the newly planted saplings. (Manures and fertilizers to be provided by RSP, Soil working/hoeing upto depth of atleast 10 to 15cm and weeding 0.5 mtr. radius around the shrubs, trees etc. without damaging the and formation of ring basin for watering. Disposal of debris outside the plantation area upto an average distance of 100 mtrs. from the area of operation. Planting of saplings/trees/shrubs in the pit by making pot holes, applying basal dose of manures and fertilizers and pressing soil in the planting area by removing the container, digging and refilling the soil after plantation works and disposal of the container out of the plantation site and watering the newly planted saplings. (Manures and fertilizers to be provided by RSP), Lawn making with Cynadon dactylon/Paspalam or grass of similar nature: Digging and pulverizing of soil upto a depth of 30 cm including removal of weeds, debris and disposal of waste outside the periphery of area meant for lawn making. Initial grading and leveling of the undulated lawn area as per instructions. Collection of manures and fertilizers from the truckable points or stores, spreading and mixing of manures/fertilizers and antitermite chemicals etc in pulverized soil, dressing, leveling the area with proper slope and landscaping as per the direction of Executive in-charge. Breaking of lumps, making the area suitable for grassing, work as per the direction of Horticulture in-charge, supply of rooted grass cuttings of pure Doob Grass, spreading in grassing area including transportation of the materials to the grassing site. Spreading in grassing area, inserting the grass into the soil. Watering by hose pipes evenly in sufficient quantities and moistening the soil for 45 days from the date of completion of grassing work to keep the planting materials alive and deweeding the weed growths of the newly planted grass lawn by removing all kind of weeds. Also mowing/cutting of grasses to be made as and when required during this period, Preparation of the flower beds/ground cover beds/hedge planting beds in loose soil conditions by digging the soil upto 30 cm depth, removal of weeds and debris and its disposal, transporting manures from an average distance of 100 mtrs and mixing of manures, dressing and leveling. (Manures will be supplied by RSP). Transportation of fertilizers, oil cakes, organic meals and antitermite chemicals, breaking of lumps and mixing in the dug up soil, digging of planting pits and plantation of planting materials in various soils in the prepared beds and watering of plantation area etc complete as per the direction of the horticulture in-charge. (Fertilizers, oil cakes, organic meals, antitermite chemicals and planting materials etc will be supplied by RSP), etc.
