1M&L for refixing of dislocated/ uprooted GI/Copper Strip along with insulator from wall/ celing/ roof or any other location as directed from any building/ panel/ hanger/ any type of structure any size and shape. Refixing should be done in proper order and alignement on existing insulator or replaced with new one if broken/ unserviceable complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: i) The quoted rate is deemed to be include the rate of necessary nuts & bolts used to refix the strip on insulator or the clamps along with nuts & bolts required to fix the GI pipe in vertical postion on wall / ceiling/ floor etc complete. ii)Porcelain/polycarbonate Insulator will be measured and paid seperatly under relevant items of this schedule.
2M&L forconstruction of PCC block by using PCC1:3:6 C1 (20mm graded aggregate)for erthing pit, errection of GI tube light grade as in foundationin anysize as per roof top condition as directed at site, on roof of any type of building/ structure including dismantaling of existing outlived old block complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
3M&L for insulator porcelain/polycarbonate/wooden block with suitable fixing arrangement by means of nuts & bolts for roof earth continiuty conductor and down conductor duly insulated from wall surface/roof of any type bldg/ hanger/ structure all as directed by Engineer- in- Charge.
4Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground levelconnected to galvanized iron strip 32 x 6 mm by means of of galvanized iron nuts & bolts or as directed at site by Engineer -in-Charge protected by GI Pipe 40 mm dia light grade and connected to test point and further connected to equipment, mcachinery, electrical panel or any other as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, which to be earthed, all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I including providion of concrete earth pit constructed in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 as earth pitand PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 for cover slab with necessary reinforcement with handle for lifting also including provision of funnel with wiremesh with 20 mm GI pipe medium gradefor watering, charcoal and salt in alternative layers of 15 cm thick all around the electrode , including necessary excavation and earth work , testing and commissioning complete all as directed at site.
5All as per Ser Item No 4 above complete but by usinggalvanized iron strip 25 x 4 mm as earth continuity conductor complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
6All as per Ser Item No 4 above complete but by using with copper earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60 cm x 3.15 mm thick and copper strip 20 x 3 mm as earth continuity conductor complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
7All as per Ser Item No 4 above complete but by using galvanized iron earth lead wire 4.0 mm dia as earth continuity conductor complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note for item No 4 to 7:i)The unit rates in this item is deemed to be included the cost of excavation for earth pit, laying of GI strip in trench upto 7.5 mtr along with GI Pipe for protection and necessary earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 as in pit and pre- cast PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 with necessary
8SITC of JEF ECO SAFE Maintenance Free Grounding Solution set comprising of High tensile low carbon steel rod of 3 Mts length & 17.2 mm dia with 250 micron ( average ) molecularly bonded copper on the outer surface to confirm with requirements of UL467 along with Back-fill compound strictly be a Carbon based conductive concrete type which has a resistivity of less than 0.12 Ohm Mtr as per Clause 14.5D of IEEE : 80 standard. Back-fill compound should be electronically conductive ( Like in metals ) and should not depend on moisture for conduction. JEF ECO SAFE compound shall be supplied in 50 Pound Bag. ( 1 Bag = 23Kg required per earthing set). The earth pits should be interconnected with 20 X 3 mm copper ( approx 7.5 mtr srtip is considered to interconnect the earth pit ). The earth electrode should finally be housed in a heavy duty concrete chamber for future access. Back-fill compound should be environment friendly, should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete and should not leach / diffuse into the ground. 5 years warranty on resistance value at less than 1 ohm will be given by the contractor and 10% of amount in quoted item rate should retain with dept upto 05 years.Test report in every six months will be submitted by the contractor, if resistance value is more than 1 ohm, contractor has to re do the work or rectify the the earthing with in 07 days without any extra cost Note : a). Provision for testing the resistivity of the back fill compound as per IEC 62561 - 7 should be arranged for a randomly selected bag, in the client"s premises prior to installation. b). Back-fill compund shall not be mixed with any soil while pouring in the bore hole. c). The earthing material supplied shall be checked / inspected by Jef"s/respective MakeEngineer d). Atleast One Jef Eco/respective Make Safe earthing installtion shall be carried out under supervision. e) Earthing value for an individual earth pit should be less than 2 ohms and in grid connected it should be less than 1 ohm irrespective of type of soil/strata/rock/other if any etc.., complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. including provision of earth pit cover, test link for test point, necessary saddling and mounting of strip complete all as directed. Make: JEF ECO SAFE, SPA infrastructure"s safe earthing electrode, Pune or JMV LPS Ltd, Delhi as approved.
9M & L for earth enhansing material/Backfill compound of A+ grade available in 25 Kg packaging bag (mineral filled compound) for lowering the resistivity of soil of existing earth pit against higher resistance.The backfill compound should strictly be a Activated carbon based conductive type which has the resistivity less than 0.12? mtr as per clause 14.5D of IEEE:80-2000 Standard. Tested as per IEC :62561-7 and the test certificate to be submitted .Shall not depend on the continous presence of water/moisture/salt to maintain its conductivty. Shall not decompose or leach out with time. Shall contain a corrosion inhibitor to prevent corrosion of copper. Should not contain hazrdous chemicals and necessary test certificate from reputed accredited laboratories shall be submitted.Should not get affected by drought and shall be stable between -10?c to +50?c temperatures. Shall be suitable for any kind of soil. Shall be supplied in sealed, moisture proof bags. These shall be marked with manufacturers nameor trade nam, quantity, batch no & date of manufacture. Back-fill compound should be electronically conductive ( Like in metals) & should not depend on moisture for conduction. Back-fill compund should be environment friendly, should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete and should not leach/diffuse into the ground, disconnecting or reconnecting strip with nuts & bolts complete all as directed by engineer in charge.Note Earth work & excavation rate shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate, copper plate will be cleaned by chemical/grinding machine, upto satisfactory level of Engineer-in-charge.Make:JEF ECOSAFE/JMV/KAPILNASH/JEF TECHNO SOLUTIONS
10Supply and fix Aluminium strip of size 25 X 3 mm as earth continuity conductor for roofand down conductors fixed/run on wall/celing/roof of any type of bulilding/hanger /structure with proper clamping or saddling duly supported on porecelene/polycarbonate/wooden block with suitable fixing arrangement of nuts & bolts or psses through wall by making hole orany other indicated situation complete all as directed according site condition by Enginer-in-Charge. NOTE: i) The quoted rate does not include the rate for porecelene/ polycarbonate/wooden insulator, the same may be measured and paid seperately under the relevant items of this schedule.
11Supply and fix Copper strip of size 20 X 3 mm as earth continuity conductor for roofand down conductors fixed/run on wall/celing/roof of any type of bulilding/hanger /structure with proper clamping or saddling duly supported on porecelene/polycarbonate/wooden block with suitable fixing arrangement of nuts & bolts or psses through wall by making hole orany other indicated situation complete all as directed according site condition by Enginer-in-Charge. NOTE: i) The quoted rate does not include the rate for porecelene/ polycarbonate/wooden insulator, the same may be measured and paid seperately under the relevant items of this schedule.
12Supply and fix Galvanised Iron wire of size 4 mm dia as earth continuity conductor fixed/run on wall/celing/roof of any type of bulilding/structure with proper clamping or saddling duly supported on poreceling/polycarbonate/wooden block with suitable fixing arrangement of nuts & bolts or laid in ground/ floor/hard standing, psses through wall by making hole or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation and drawn through GI Pipe 15 mm bore, light grade complete all as directed according site condition by Enginer-in-Charge.
13Supply and fix, laid in ground/floor/hard standing or fixed on wall Galvanised iron strip 32 x 6 mm as earth continuity conductor, including provision of necessary sadling/ mounting, nuts, bolts and washers complete all as directed. Note for item No 9 to 12:- The quoted rate shall deemed to be included the rate of necessary excavation in any type of soil or in hard standing and also included the rate of necessary sadles, clamps to run the conductor on wall / ceiling / in existing trench, making connections to the existing LT panels, DB etc with help of necessary nuts, bolts and washers complete.
14Supply and laying in trenches/ floor/hard standing, fixing on wall / roofs/ celing of any builgding/ structure GI Pipe 40 mm bore light grade including all necessary fittings for the protection of GI earth Strip complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
15Supply and laying in trenches/ floor/hard standing, fixing on wall / roofs/ celing of any building/ structure GI Pipe 25 mm bore light grade including all necessary fittings for the protection of GI earth Strip and mounting of air termination rod complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
16Repair/replacement of existing damaged earth chamber of PCC of any size including removal of old chamber and disposing at outside the MOD land, including alllnecessary excavation work complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
17M&L for carrying out measurement of soil resistivity at site by wenner method approximate area (40x10mtrs) as detailed in IEEE81 standard in any type of soil including breaking of concrete if necessary to drive the spike for testing the earth pit resistance complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
18M&L for carrying out physical inspection and measurement of individual earth pit resistance of each earth pit, every day located in various locations and maintain the record of its reading day wise and submitt this office timely. For measuring the resistance of individual electrode of LV distribution system and other non-DG/ Transformer by fall of poterntial test in case fall of potential method is not possible at certain locations then measurememnt of earth pit reisistance shall be carried out in stake less method using current and voltage clamps. Total525 Nosearth pit approxlocatedin different area of this station shall be measured in each month or all as directed. pit for measurement of pit resistance inclusing necessary excavation in any type of soil, or braking of hardstanding for inserting of spikes complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. iii) The rate also include to inspect and measure resistand of any type of earth( like conventional or chemical, strip or wire any size) complete.
19M&L for fixing in repairs of Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long as directed by engineer in charge
