1Supply, Installing, testing and commissioningof DG set 125 KVA four cylinder diesel engine developing 156 BHP @ 1500 RPM, Engine will be cooled by rail mounted , engine driven radiator of adequate capacity with blower fan, fan guard, fan belt etc. The diesel engine shall be vertical, electric start, compression ignition, 4 stroke design to run continiously at 1500 RPM comfirming to IS 10002, ISO-3064, BS 5514 standard with an overload capacity of 10% for 1 hour in every 12 hours operation.Diesel engine will comply with present CPCB norms. Diesel engine set as per IS 10002 and alternator as per IS-4722/BS-EN-60034-1 with inbuilt electronic speed governor with micro processor based AMF control panel including necessary anti vibration pad and AMF panel will be as recommended by the manufacturer and comprising the following specification complete all as directed:- (a) The diesel Engine comprising the following:- (i) Starter Motor (ii) MICRO/BOSCH fuel pump with Electronic Governor. (iii) Dry type air cleaner (iv) Residential Silencer (v) First fill of lubricating oil (vi) Lubericating oil filter (Replaceable element type) (vii) Fuel oil filter (Spin on type) (viii) Battery charging alternator
2b. GEN-SET CONTROLLER Following indication / LCD display should be available in the digital Gen set controller (i) Lubricating oil pressure (ii) Battery voltage (iii) Engine RPM (iv) Fuel level in the day tank (v) Engine running hours indication (vi) AC Current (vii) AC Voltage (viii) AC Frequency (ix) AC power metering (x) Suitable CTs for displaying the electrical parameters c. Safety alarm required in the digital Genset Controller:- (a) High Engine temperature (b) Low lubricating oil pressure (c) Low radiator water level (d) Low fuel level (e) Battery high voltage (f) Under / Over speed d. Safety trips requirred in the digital Gen set controller:- (a) High engine temperature (b) Low lubricating oil
3B. ALTERNATOR Alternator shall be suitable to deliver rated output at 1500 RPM, 415 Volt, 0.8 PF (Lag), 50 Hz, 3 Phase in SPDP enclosure, self excited and self regulated, brassless. The alternator shall conform to IS:4722/BS EN 60034-1 & will suitable for tropical condition. Full load efficiency of the alternator offered should be above 90%, class of insulation shall be H and temperature rise also limited to class H , Enclosure shall conform to IP23.
4C. AUTOMATIC MAINS FAILURE (AMF) PANEL: AMF panel shall be of factory made cubical type floor mounted LT panel board, outdoor kiosk type made out of MS angle iron 25x 25 x5 mm size and 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet, front openable type, protection level IP-65, dust, weather andmin proof duly powder quoted after after seven tank process with electrolytic grade copper bus bar of 300 Amps capacity for three phase and neutral, with all standard switch gear such as power contactors of 250 Amps, relays etc and protection, internal wiring of adequate size PVC insulated multistranded copper conductor cable etc and also consisting of following:- (i) MCCB 415 volts, 250 Amps rating, 4 pole, 25 KAing capacity, microprocessor based rfelease for incomming supply overload, short circuit and earth fault protection--02 Nos. (incomming from commercial and stand by supply) (ii) Ammeter 0 to 500 Amps, 96 x 96 mm square dial flush type, ISI marked with selector switch 3 way-01 No. (iii) Voltmeter 0 to 500 Volt, 96 x 96 mm square dial flush type, ISI marked with rotary selector switch 3 way-01 No. (iv) Phase indicator lamps (R-Y-B) -01 Set (v) Frequency meter digital type 45 to 55 Hz-01 No. (vi) KWH meter 3 phase unbalanced load 1200 Amps capacity including CT coil-1 set (vii) Auxilary contacts
5(viii) All standard relays, circuits and protections required for automatic operation of Gen set (ix) Battery charger (PSMB based) D. BASE FRAME Suitable to couple the engine & Alternator made from steel sheet metal. E. FUEL TANK 8 hours capacity with inlet and outlet arrangement, air vent and drain plug arrangement. F. Battery 12 V Amco/ Power line / Other reputed mark 135/180 Alt Battery E14.
6G. Technical specification of acoustic enclosure construction: Following technical features of Acoustic enclosure shall be adhered: 1. The enclosure is modular in construction. 2. Base frame shall be made of sheet metal 3. Durable industrial locking system shall be provided on door. 4. Door shall be gasketed with high quality EDPN gasket. H. Corrosion resistance: To make the enclosure weather proof 1. All sheet metal parts / components shall be hot dipped in seven tank process, pretreated and passivated. 2. Sheet metal components shall be painted with P.P base power. Base frame shall be epoxy coated 4. Specially designed residential silencer to be provided. J. Acoustic insulation: 1. Sound proofing of the enclosure done with quality foam confirming to IS:8183 2. Acoustic form shall be fire retarded andfire resistant. 3. Attenuates shall be provided to controlsound at entry and exits tyo and from the container. 4.Specially designed residential silencer to be provided.
7K. Ventilation and air circulation: Exhaust pipe shall be thoroughly insulated by covering it with glass wool and further gladded in enclosure. L. Electrical Neutral body earthing point at the sides of enclosure shall be isolated through Dough Moulded compound. M. Safeties Emergency push button to stop the DG set from outside, Lubricating oil level, Lubricating oil pressure, Fuel level indicator, coolant level, Canopy temperature, High engine temperature shall be provided.
8Notes: (i) Design / Drawing / BOM of the DG set showing the dimension is to be obtained from the OEM / Authorised supplier and is to be got approved from GE before placing final order to the manufacturer. (ii) The cost of servicing including minor repairs / replacement such as topping up of coolant, engine / lubricating diesel as well as lubricating filters including periodical checking of the complete DG sets for the complete defect liability period as and when requirredshall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) Any things missed out in the technical specification but technically required for efficient working of DG sets shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iv) The quoted rate shall deemed to be included of first fill of engine oil and final successful acceptance test. (v) The quoted rate shall deemed to be included of 12 hours test run at site in the present of representative of Accepting Officer. All testing arrangements / equipement, resistive load including POL shall be made available by the contractor.
9Material and labour for hardcore of broken stone or boulder of gauge n.exc 63mm, deposited, spread and leveled in layers n.exc 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed.
10Material and labour for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation of pole, stay, panels etc complete all as specified and as directed.
11Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.
12Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.
13Supply and laying under ground XLPE insulated PVC sheathed (Heavy duty) armoured 1100 volts grade aluminium conductor cable of size 240 Sqmm 3.5 core laid in trenches or fixed to wall / pole / ceiling as per IS 7098 (Part I) including connection cable glands, aluminium lugs etc including taking down unservicable cable complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Earth work, brick protection and sand cushioning and GI Pipe will be measured and paid separately under respective item.
14Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil etc complete all as specified and as directed.
15Returning, filling in, of soil including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cmcomplete all as specified and as directed .
16Removing exvated material to a distance n.exc 50M and deposited/ spreaded where directed at a level n. exc 1.5 M above the starting point completeall as specified and as directed .
17Materials and labour for sand filling around the cable with approved quality coarse sand for sand cushioning of Under ground cableincludingspreading and punning down to requirred thickness complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Thickness of sand cushioning after punning down shall be measured for payment purpose)
18Materials and labour for brick protection cover to underground cables with sub class ‘B’ over burnt brick of size 23 X 11.5 X 7.5 cm, (locally available best quality), laid dry and flat abutting each other with gaps not exceeding 10mm complete all as specified and as directed.
19Materials and labour for earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly and preferably vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connetced with galvanised strip of 32 x 6mm sizeby means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead to be protected by galvanised iron pipe of 40mm bore (light grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (medium grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary earth work in excavation, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 m etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I(2009) complete including testing on completion including taking out unserviceable earthing plate and accessoriesall as specified and as directed. (Note: Earth strip upto a length of 7.50 m from earthplate shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate.)
