Conduct SWOT Analysis Of Each Activity Details Given Above By Interacting With DES And Line Department Officers By Visiting Departmental Head Offices Given Against The Activities In The Appendix 3. Study The Recommendations Of National Statistical Commission And Thirteenth Finance Commission With Respect To Each Subject 4. Study The Activities Included In The Implementation Plan Of KSSSP And Its Outcomes. 5. Conduct Gap Analysis Including The Ones Detailed In Para 1.4 Above And Identify Business Process Reengineering BPR) Requirements To Provide Reliable, Credible And Timely Data 6. Bench Mark The Concept, Meaning, Standards Of Each Parameter Or Indicator Used In The Above Activities. 7. Identify The Important Indicators Of Each Department Which Would Measure The Outcomes Of The Department With Regard To Quality Of Life And Socio-Economic Development 8. Define The Scope Of Each Activity To Improve The Quality And Timeliness Of Data Including The Activities That Are Needed For This Purpose 9. Assess The Short Term And Long Term Capacity Building Requirements Of DES And Other Departmental Officers 10. The Core Committee Will Be Set Up For Each Of The Major Activity. The Consultant Needs To Consult This Committee During The Assignment Continuously To Get Their Feedback In Preparing The Detailed Project Report DPR). Hence, The Consultant Has To Present The Findings Before The Core Committee At Each Phase. At Least The Consultant Has To Present The Finding Three Times Before Finalization Of DPR.
