Inserting the new earth strips to the already fixed rods by means of drilling suitable holes in earth strips at location of rods, joining the earth strip and rod by means of welding and cutting of any extra length of rod at the top level of earthstrip, joining the old & new earth strips etc complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of cost of chipping of concrete floor, cutting, grinding, welding, drilling of earth strips & concrete floor, chemical anchoring of rods in dock floor etc complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The departmentally supplied steel plate shall be collected from store, transported to hull shop, shall get it cut to the required size at CSL workshop (cutting willl be free of cost) and transported back to site by the contractor.
