Work includes excavation,ocr, pipe cleaning by Cu blasting, primer application, coating application ( Inner & Outer), backfilling etc : 8 inch pipeline Coating & Wrapping which includes Excavation [upto 2.5 M from Pipe top towards GL], OCR, Cleaning of pipe Surface by copper blasting,Primer application,application of Inner Wrap Outer wrap, putty, Backfilling[upto 2.5 M from Pipe top towards GL],i.e. completing Coating & wrpping in all respects by supplying all instruments and tools and tackles and as directed by Site Engineer/EIC or as mentioned in SCC |
| 2 | Sleeve Welding ( Type-B): Fabrication, fitment and welding of full encirclement sleeves from owners supplied pipes over pitted/defect sections of the exposed pipeline including testing/inspection (DP/ Tell taletest), supply of all equipment, consumables, labor etc. required to complete the work in all respects as per the specifications and direction of the Site Engineer/EIC. Pipes will be supplied by the Owner from Owner\"s Store yards and shall be transported to site at the Contractor\"s risk & cost : Sleeve Length in 8 inch pipeline sleeve welding |
| 3 | Fabrication of Sleeve: Preparation of half cut sleeves by taking MS pipes from owner\"s store (MS pipe will be supplied by the Owner) or IOCL designated location including fitting on pipe. The pipe is to be cut into halves of required length and circumference and make bevel edges as per direction, transporting the prepared sleeves from IOCL designated location to site, including providing man, machine & consumables like, generator, grinding machine, complete as per site requirement and direction. 1 half cut sleeve means 2 halves so that iten circles/grips the full circumference of the existing running pipeline. | 4 | Excavation & Backfilling B/w 2.5 M to 5 M: Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil, both wet & dry condition (except hard rock requiring blasting, chiselling / pneumatic drilling) for foundation, substructures, trenches, sumps, pits etc. to the following depths including shoring, strutting, trimming of sides of the trenches, dressing, ramming and levelling the bottom of the trenches correct to level, grade etc. including bailing out of water (if any), stacking selected excavated earth for backfilling, filling available excavated earth in trenches, foundation, plinth etc. and/or disposing the excess earth outside IOCL premises to an unobjectionable area with all leads & lifts, etc. complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of the Site Engineer/EIC.:Excess Excavation & Backfilling B/w 2.5 M to 5 M in all kinds of soil[except hard rock] from Pipe top towards GL, as mentioned in SCC |
| 5 | Road Cutting: Cutting bituminous or water bound macadam road, stacking the material and making good the same as previous including supply of extra quantity of aggregate, moorum grit and bitumem etc. required, disposal of surplus earth if any/ complete as per the description of EIC. Job includes supply of all labour, equipments etc |
| 6 | Centering and Shuttering to prevent Earth Collapse of Excavated Pit / Trench: Providing and fixing Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form, with double scaffolding system (cup lock type) and MS centring plates (with bolting arrangement) all - around inner side of excavated pit to retain the earth and prevent collapsing of trench. Cup Lock made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 meter centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps. MS Shuttering Plates should be connected with nut bolt system to each other and these are tied (with the outer face of the erected scaffold structure) cup lock scaffolding by MS binding wire. The scoffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer - in - charge. Same items are to be removed, after completion of the of the requirement of the same. This shall also include, transportation, material handling equipment, manpower, tools whatsoever requied for the job and duration of installed structure in the trenach, shall be as required for safe completion of the job as per IOCL\"S descrition. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose |
| 7 | Providing Hydra ( 10-12 TON capacity ) along with belts, chains, hooks etc at site for shifting heavy material or equipments like pipes, welding machine, cold cutting machine etc.The rate is inclusive of mobilisation and demobilisation cost, hiring and running cost, fuels, consumables, lube oil cost, operator cost etc., as per direction of EIC. Payment towards equipment running charges shall be made only if payments are not covered in any of the SOR items elese where in this contract |
| 8 | Providing & making Gabion structure with Mechanically Woven Double Twisted Hexagonal Shaped Wire mesh Gabion Boxes as per IS-16014:2012, MORTH Clause 2500, of required size, Mesh Type 10x12 (D=100 mm with tolerance of +/- 2%) zinc coated, Mesh wire diameter 3.0 mm, mechanically edged/ selvedged with partitions at every 1m interval and shall have minimum 10 numbers of openings per meter of mesh perpendicular to twist, tying with lacing wire of diameter 2.2mm, supplied @ 3% by weight of Gabion boxes, filled with boulders with least dimension of 200 mm, as per drawing, all complete as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. |
