Carrying out the soil investigation and determining SBC by field work and laboratory studies including and comprising of :-(a) Mobilisation of plants equipments including men and materials required at site of soil investigation, setting of boring/drilling as required anddemobilization of plants and equipments on completion of worketc complete (which includes conveyance of sample collected to testing lab as required for the purpose of testing).(b)Shifting of entire arrangement from one bore to another bore hole location and setting of boring/drilling as required and directed.(c) Carrying out for sub surface boring / drilling4’’ diameter bore holes upto 3.0 m depth (or refusal if met earlier) in soil strata with boulders, gravels. Arrangement for drilling / boring must be catered for by the consultants and no excuses for assuming any kind of strata shall be acceptable. “Open test pits of any depth (0.6 m to 3.0 m) will not be allowed to be performed as the sites of boreholes are in close proximity to the runway / manoeuvring surfaces.”. The graphic log should include the following :- (i) Location (ii) Date Performed (iii) Type of Exploration (iv) Surface Elevation (v) Depth of Material (vi) Sample Identification Number (vii) Classification (viii) Water Table (viii Standard Penetration Test.

Conducting Test for CBR (California Bearing Ratio) of Laboratory Compacted Soils as per IS 2720(PARTXVI)1965.

Determination of Modulus of Subgrade Reaction (K value in Kg / cubic cm) as per IS 9214: 1979 by using 75 cm diameter Plate at locations on the Left and Right side of the Runway and Parallel Taxi Track in a staggered manner as directed by the GE.*IS 2720-1 (1983) is not relevant for determination of Modulus of Subgrade Reaction test.

Counsultancy charges for digital topographical survey using electronic total station covering features, structures, pavements, sewage lines, drains, culverts, tension wire, roads, kutcha/pacca paths, utilities, major trees, manholes, boundary wall/fencing etc. as per site requirements. The instrument to be shifted after 30m Interval. The Total Station Used should have least count 1\" to 2\". The BM to be established every 30m so that the instrumnet may be placed between the BM and checking of level be done from both the BM. The survey should start from one point and it should end at the same point where it had started. The grid for pavement facilities to be 2m x 2m and the grid for shoulder and remaining Air Field to be 10m x 10m. The qty calculation for grade correction, earth work and darins to be submitted along with level sheet of all facility. Submit two sets of drawings alongwith soft copy of map in autocard, contour at 0.50 mtr interval including all tools, plants, equipment and manpower etc. to be marked on the plan separately complete.Submission ofdetailed report by doing and including the followingas per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge :-(a) Analysis of existing drainage pattern (with the help of drawings) of surface run-off of rainwater based on topography in the Airfield Area (which includes the complete area surrounding the Main Runway, Parallel Taxi Track and other areas as directed).Note :- This report shall include drawings indicating existing drains and their capacity, dimensions etc
