Notes:- (i) Tenderer shall have sanction from GVMC designated places before quoting the tender. If designated place may be varied during execution, no claim shall be entertained on this account. (ii) Approval if any to be obtained from GVMC for dumping the excavated material of GVMC designated places, the same shall be obtained by the contractor. Nothing extra shall be paid on this ground. (iii) Load shall be consiered as per section 21 of SSR Part -II (2020)
13Taking down eves gutters and PVC rain water mains (any size or pattern) including all fittings, heads, shoes, blends, swan necks etc all as specified and directed.
14Dismantling of asbestos cement (corrugated/semi corrugated) sheet in roof covering.
15Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness size quality of any description) from metal frame and remes including removing debris from dockyard premises.

24Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mrtres and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point.
25M & L for drilling or boring for 600mm nominal dia. bored cast-in-situ piles, through any or all types of strata i.e soft/loose soil, stiff clay, gravel, cobble stone, compact moorum, soft conglomerate or loose boulders, disintegrated rock, weathered rocks etc., (except hard rock for socketing depth) upto top of socketing depth/founding depth by adopting suitable method with perennial water and disposal of drilling/bored materials at a designated place approved by GVMC outside MD land to a distance exc. 10.00 km and n.exc 15.0km and depositing where directed complete all as specified and as directed.

27All as per Item No.1.024 above but through hard rock founding minimum depth of socketing into the hard rock shall be 2D (Where D is dia of pile)or upto 1.5m depth whichever is higher for600mm nominal bored dia pile complete.
28All as per Item No.1.025 above but through hard rock founding minimum depth of socketing into the hard rock shall be 2D (Where D is dia of pile)or upto 1.5m depth whichever is higher for800mm nominal bored dia pile complete.
29Notes for Item Nos. 1.024 to 1.027: (i) The depth of boring for piles shall be measured from existing ground/bed level/river bed top (as per soundings/reduced levels taken at the commencement of work) to the approved founding level. (ii) It shall be ensured that the waste bentonite slurry/ drilled or bored material is pumped off from the premises to locations shown as approved by GVMC by contractor at his own cost. The distance mentioned in description of item shall be the shortest distance from the centre of the building. (iii) All channels/tanks made for bentonite circulations shall be filled with approved moorum obtained by contractor at his cost after clearing all bentonite cakes. (iv) The contractor may use any approved method as approved by GE for boring without any extra cost to the Govt.The rates for boring of piles shall be inclusive of any method/ casing that may be used by the contractor for bored piles.Nothing extra shall be paid. (v) For the purpose of payment of boring/drilling, description of hard rock shall be as given in particular specification. (vi) The size of cutting tool shall not be less than diameter of pile by more than 75 mm. (vii) The rates quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of the rates for the shifting and setting up of piling rig as many times as required.
30Carrying out routine load test (working pile) as per standard procedure given in IS-2911 (Part IV) 1985 by static test method for 600mm dia. Piles for a test load of 366 ton complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge .(Note:- The pile for routine test shall be selected by GE)
31All as per Item No 1.028 here-in-before but for the load of 534 ton for 800mm dia new pile.

34Material and labour forPCC (1:3:6) type C1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in cills, coping, bonders etc complete all as specified and directed..
35M & L for PCC (1:3:6) type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate foundation filling, mass concrete and underneath pile caps, suspended flooring/slab, beams, plinth protectionetc. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
36M&L for reinforced cement concrete (Ready mix concrete) by design mix M-40 grade (Using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in bore holes using portland slag cement and admixture conplast SP-432 A2 or equivalent for piles in tremie methodincluding necessary dewatering, formwork, concrete mixed in RMC plant, transporting, placing, compacting, vibrating etc., complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
37Notes: (i) Design mix shall be as per IS-456-2000 and max size of aggregate shall not exceed 20mm and the slump shall be 150 to 180mm. (ii) Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately. (iii) Unit rate shall be deemed to include interalia for preliminary design mix, works test cubes as specified. (iv) Minimum cement content shall be 400 Kg/ Cu.m. of concrete for M40 (Piles) using Portland slag cement with minimum slag content of 50% (fifty percent) which ever is higher. (v) Admixture shall be added as per manufacturer instructions. The rate for Admixture Conplast SP-430-A2 or Equivalent shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (vi) The unit rate shall be deemed to include carrying out non-destructive integrity test for 100% of the total number of piles as per IS 14893-2001 by GovernmentEngineering College / IIT Chennai in presence of rep of Accepting Officer and contractorand the test results shall be signed by the all concerned. (vii) In case at the time of mix design cement content is increased beyond minimum content givenno extra payment will be made. (viii) Standard manufactured cover blocks as per IS should be used, Site cast cover blocks not be used
38M&L for reinforced cement concrete of grade M-40 (Design mix using 20mm graded stone aggregate) using ready mix concrete including supply and mixing of admixtures, as infoundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, bases for columns, pile caps, suspended floor beams & slabs, plinth protection, basement slabs, under-reamed piles etc. using portland slag cement and handling, conveyance, errection with alignment in true position complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

65Supply and fixing Trapezoidal profiled galvalume sheeting in lengths upto 12m to suit the site requirements.The profiled sheets shall be made out of 0.50mm base metal thickness, Cold Rolled steel of 550 Mpa yield strength conforming to IS 513 (1994) with hot dip metallic coating at minimum 150 gm/Sq.m. zinc- aluminium alloy coating mass (55% Aluminium, 43.5% zinc and 1.5% silicon) total of both sides. The colour shall have a total coating thickness of 35 micron of silicon modified super durable polyester paint system of approved colour, comprising of 20 microns exterior coat on top surface and 5 microns reverse coat on back surface over 5 microns primer coat on both surfaces.Roofing/wall cladding sheets shall be factory cut and supplied in required lengths (of upto 12 m) to suit shop drawings. The roofing/wall cladding sheets shall be crest fixed with 12- 14X55mm SDST screws ITW/ Corroshield make IS 1022 base material with TEK3/TEK4 point having flange thickness of minimum 2mm with special cyclonic washers all as per manufacturer"s instructions.Roofing/wall cladding sheets shall be crest fixed with minimum 5 Nos. of above specified screws per metre sheet width at all the purlins/runners. Colour of sheeting shall be grey or apprroved by GE.

83M &L Water proofing treatment including preparation of surfaces as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terrace etc., consisting of following sequences ofof operations on RCC surfaces. ( a) Roof slab shall be cleaned thoroughly and apply cement slurry@3 kg/sqm. (b) Applying a cement plaster of 10 mm thicknessin CM 1:3 mixed with water proofing compuond finished surface even and fair. (WPC shall be measured and paid for separetly) (c) Clean the surfacesthroughly and apply a coat of blown grade bitumen @1.2 kg/sqm over bitumen primer @0.5 kg/ sqm. (d)Polymeric water proofing (Attatic poly propelene) membrane minimum 3mm thickness weight not less than 3 kg/ Sqm shall be laid over the entire surfaces. ( e)A coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 grade @1.20 Kg /sqmshall be aapplied over water proofing membrane and finally it shall be finished with a coat of bitumeneous aluminum paint @0.1 kg/sqm. (f) The side lap shall be 10 cm and end lap shall be 15cm.
84M & L for 70 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base and 30 mm thick granolithic concrete (1:1:2 ) mixed with and including @ 5 Kg/Sqm in top layer of whilst it is green and the surface finished mechanically even and fair.
85M&L for 15mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar 1:6 for laying floor finishes complete all as specified and directed.
86M & L for 40 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in floors.
87M & L for brushing neat cement slurry with 3kg of cement per Sqm.

91Supply and application of 5 mm thick epoxy self levelling floor with Noto floor SL 4000 or equivalent (as approved by GE) over a coat of epoxy primer nitoprime 25 or equivalent (as approved by GE) including scarifying or grinding the surfaces to remove laitance with air blowers and cleaning the surface by water jetting and air blowers and allowing the surface to dry for 2 days complete all as directed. (The work shall be executed by authorised rep of OEM of the material).
