Name of Work: Annual Maintenance and Routine Maintenance of Electro Mechanical Equipments installed at 105MW LJHP Baramulla for three machines for a period of 02 years.

1PART 1 AMC GENERATOR (39MVA, 50c/s, 0.9pf, 11KV, 214.3rpm, semi-umbrella type): Repair/replace the stator foundation if cracked or broken. Clean the surface air coolers externally and internally. Inspection of the stator connection with sole plates and upper bracket, Inspection of fixation points on lower bracket and covers, checking of machine base component (sole plates), testing of the stator winding and its connections. Inspection of the upper and lower air guides and all fastenings. Check the stator and frame for missing bolts, nuts, foreign materials, missing area of paint, dust & rust, signs of movements or distortion and replacement and repairs thereof. Repair baffle and shroud condition. Check the Torque /Locking of core studs. Clean the winding thoroughly with mineral turpentine oil, if required. Clean generator housing. Check the stator air (Ventilating) ducts for dirt and debris. Checking of earthing points.Measuring air gap between stator and rotor and take measurements at top and bottom against each pole. Measuring IR value of windings. Tightening main CT terminals for any looseness. Tightening main & neutral connections of stator. Inspection of rotor fasteners & other parts. Inspection of rotor rim and wedging. Inspection of poles, field winding, winding and flexible connections, inter-polar Wedges and their insulating wedges. Inspection of all the connection between poles and collector. Inspection of the brake ring and its fastening. Inspection and cleaning of the collector ring and brush system. Repair the rim key for local fretting, broken or cracked welds. Tightness of pole keys and key retainers. Tightening connections from rotor to slip rings. Tight the field cable supports and mounting clamps for security. Check the field cable electrical connections for security. Measure the field insulation resistance with low voltage megger (say 500 volts DC). Measure voltage drop per pole. Checking & testing of all individual termination for alarms, annunciations & trippings of protection for complete system. Cleaning of panel, tightening of all terminals, checking of PCBs, relays, contactors, Fuses for any burn out etc. Removal of same if found necessary. Checking the functioning of different MCB & their auxiliary contacts for different faults. General inspection of all temperature sensors. Inspection & tightening of all wiring connections at terminal block. Inspection of connection of all grounding connections. General inspection and cleaning of the rotor bars and stator windings of the system. Defective items should be replaced/ repaired for smooth operation.
2EXCITATION SYSTEM: Remove dust and dirt from cabinets and electrical components. Inspect excitation transformer thoroughly. Repair foundation bolts of exciter fan if found loose or broken. Check cooling fan motor lubrication. Tight all connections in field breaker cubicles. Inspect field circuit breaker contacts, arc chutes etc. Inspect wiring for wear and burns or melted wire insulation. Inspect contacts on open contactors and relays. Discoloration and rough contact surfaces are normal. Check operation of all relays, contactors, breakers inspect contacts, check operation of all firing alarm and protection circuits. Clean thyristor bridges. Replace inlet air filters and if found dirty clean it. Tightness of all connections and bolted joints. Tightening cables connecting slip rings and field winding. General inspection and cleaning of the system and replacement of excitation filters. Repairs/ Replacements of defective items, if required.
3EXCITATION TRANSFORMER 600KVA, 11KV/255V (UET): Remove dirt/dust especially accumulation on insulating surfaces/cabin or those which tend to restrict air flow. Clean up of winding, lead supports tap changing connections etc. Perform a visual inspection of coils, wiring and monitoring equipment. Check all temperature supervision equipment, if present. Check all temperature supervision equipment circuits. Measure IR between HV, LV coils & core and between HV & LV coils. Check the tightness of power circuit connections. Visual inspection inside the terminal box to find out any abnormality like rust, corrosion, condensation, sparking. Tightness of the connections, vacuum & CRC cleaning. General inspection and cleaning of the system.
4CURRENT COLLECTION SYSTEM (BRUSH TYPE/SLIP RINGS): Replace brushes and brush gear fixing bolts if needed. Cleaning of the collector system. Check the slip rings for excessive run-out, wear, scratches or other abnormal conditions. Clean for excessive amounts of carbon debris or other contaminants. Check brush force and freedom of brush movement in the brush holder. Measure brush length, replace if required. Measure the clearances between the carbon brush and the slip rings. General inspection and cleaning of the system. Replacement of Slip rings, holders, brushes if found required. Specific pressure of the brushes on slip rings should be 150-200 gm/cm2. Checking for polarity contacts for both of the rings.
5BATTERY BANK & CHARGER: Tightening of all the inter cell connectors. Application of petroleum jelly /Vaseline grease at battery bank. Measurement of cells voltage and specific gravity of each battery cell and top up of battery cells with distilled water /electrolyte if required. Checking of battery fuse box, tightening of connections and cleaning with CRC. Cleaning of Battery Charger with insulating brush and vacuum cleaner. Testing of float and boost chargers. Tightening of all internal control wiring joints, power circuit joints and jumper connections. Tightening of earthing connections. Repair/replace of door locks, hinges if needed etc. Inspection and testing for zero grounding of batteries/ DC system. Replacement of Battery cell or other items, if required.
6BRAKE, JACK & HP LUBRICATION: Visual inspection of brake and jack for any abnormality. Clean the brakes /liners etc to remove traces of oil etc. Inspect the brakes for adequate lining, cleanliness, piston leakage and freedom of movement. Tightening the brake holding down bolts for security. Check the limit switch performance and adjust where necessary. Replace brake system seals and O-rings for abrasions, nicks or wear if needed. Check that the brake system sliding surfaces are well lubricated. Verification of Braking and jacking panel. Inspection of the jacking pump. Clean HP oil filter/strainer. Inspect the high-pressure oil system for leaks, cleanliness of the strainer, proper switch operation. General inspection of the piping regarding tightness and support. Complete Inspection of HP oil injection System and repairs/replacement of defective items for smooth operation.
7GUIDE BEARING (Combined & Upper Bearings and allied coolers I.e. TGB cooler, LGB/Thrust cooler & Hot Air Coolers): Cleanliness of the all bearing housing. Cleanliness of the all oil-to-water heat exchangers (coolers), externally and internally. Check cooler tubes for any leakage by pressurizing to a pressure more than maximum expected working pressure. Check the bearing high/low oil level switches are indicating correctly and that alarms are functioning and properly calibrated. Verification of valves, clearances of Guide segments, Verification of shaft insulation at upper collar, checking of thrust and guide segments surface, checking of thrust bearing springs and supports, verification of Oil conditionwith Checking of oil level in baths, topping may be done, if required. Testing of all alarm & trip circuits by simulating the conditions. Measure RTDs for proper function. Complete dismantling, checking, cleaning and refitting of same/new heat exchangers (TGB, LGB & Thrust and UGB coolers). Replacement of rubber gasket of suitable thickness General inspection and cleaning of the system, if required. Drainage of oil from bearings. Complete cleaning of oil bath. Thorough cleaning of heat exchanger tubes carrying cooling water and bolt tightening of covers. Dismantling of TGB oil chamber. Removing of old contaminated oil. Cleaning of TGB oil chamber, replacement of Fiber Caps, Inspection of turbine guide bearing pads, and maintenance if required. Reassembly of TGB and oil chamber and filling of new TGB oil.
8ELECTRICAL PROTECTION PANEL/CABINET: Checking of all indications on the panel. Cleaning of all dirt & dust, general cleaning of panel. Tightening of all electrical connections for looseness or chopped wiring & tighten all connection and Terminal Boxes. Inspecting all mounted components for signs of overheating & if found then rectify or replaces the same. Inspect & clean relays, contactors, switches, CB’S, etc for proper operations for any physical damage, replace if required. Testing of all Electromechanical relays. Clean & inspect every component electronic cards, relays etc. Testing all alarm / trip circuits by simulating the fault conditions. Checking of DC supply to the panels. General inspection, checking and keeping the protection system healthy. Repair/Replace the defective items for keeping the system intact.
9BUS DUCT: Complete cleaning and removal of dust from bus duct and associated panels. Checking of Surge arrestor and surge diverter within the panels. Checking IR values for the same. Checking & cleaning of earth & other contacts. Changing/Removal of surge protectors, if found necessary.
10GENERATOR TRANSFORMER (14 MVA, 11KV/132KV): Verification of Oil Level at tank, conservator, bushings and thermometer pockets, verification of venting device, checking of earthing connections, checking of breathing devices (replacement of silica gel or to be dried out), verification HV star point neutral grounding connection, Verification of Tan delta, PI, Capacitance. Take oil sample for laboratory analysis so as to check oil for appearance, dielectric strength, water content, neutralization valve (total acidity), sediment and sludge dielectric dissipation factor, specific resistance, interfacial tension, flash point & viscosity etc. Check /clean from dust and grease of wipe tank, accessible bushing and accessories. Check all nuts & bolts. Replace all gaskets with the new ones, if required. Cleaning of transformer coolers and water pipes of the coolers. Check oil and cooling water flow indicators and its alarm/trip setting. Check/clean/tighten conductor clamps of LV & neutral bushing. Take IR of winding & neutral earthing. Check electric connection fuses links & magnetizing current at 415 V. Check for and repair any leaks on the transformer, cooling pipe works and heat exchanger. Check oil circulating pumps for proper operation, cleaning. Check Buchholz relay for mechanical inspection. Inspect and calibrate oil & winding temperature indicator. General inspection and cleaning of the system. De-sludging & filtration of transformer oil, if required after testing. Replacement of damaged contacts fuses or any other items, if required.Epoxy Painting of all transformers to be done once in two years. Cleaning, Checking and testing of Lightening Arrestors installed in tandem with each GTs. Necessary topping of oil with filtration (when reached to specified BD value), if required.
11SWITCHGEAR & STATIONS (132KV & 33KV LJHP S/Y, 33KV PEERNIA R/S with 11KV Line): Physical checking of each and every component installed from GTs to switchyard. Checking of jumper, post insulator, clamps, nuts-bolts, 0.2/0.4 ACSR conductors, etc and replacement of same if found necessary. Verification of SF6 Gas pressure, Verification of Circuit Breaker operation time, verification of disconnector & earthing switches mechanical operation, Inspect /clean housing & components. Necessary greasing of mechanical components as per operational manual. Tightening glands connections and terminals including dis-connectors table links. Clean surge arrestor. Check indications, controls and alarm & trip circuits. Visual inspection for signs of corrosion. Tightening of foundation and flange connection bolts of local control panels. Check CB modules for operation & tightness of bolts. Checking/Cleaning of all MV & LV panels with CRC. Greasing & Cleaning of Isolators, Bus posts, Pot, CVT, & other allied components. Tight lock nuts of dis-connectors. Tightening of all earth connectors. Lubrication of bearings of auxiliary switches, if required. Check /clean the main & support insulator of outdoor termination. Checking and testing for earth resistivity in the yard and repairs, if required. Inspect earthing connection and top connection with regard to corrosion. Tighten and lubricate all loose bolts. Cleaning of earthing system. Repair/replace cable clamps for cracks and other defects. Visual inspection of the cables for any Mechanical damage or any leakage. . Check indications, control, and alarm & trip circuit by simulating the condition. Inspection of GCBs isolators, 132 KV isolators, and 20 MVA isolators, necessary tighten of mechanism thereof. de-weeding of whole switchyard and warikhah receiving stations. Checking of control cables and power cables laid in trenches from power house to for any breakdown caused by animals. If found, then necessary replacement or repairs may be done. Oil topping of 3.15 MVA transformer at 33KV peernia station (if reqd). Maintenance of all 11KV breakers. Maintenance of 33KV/11KV line, replacement of damaged conductors, pin insulators, old wooden poles, etc. Branch cutting of both 33KV/11KV line from power house to Barrage of LJHP. Maintenance of Earth switch, Battery Bank and replacement of link set and CT clamps, PT clamps, etc. Cleaning and greasing of 33KV panel etc.
12MST, SST, AVR & UAT(MST (20 MVA, 132KV/33KV at switchyard), SST (1600 KVA, 33KV/440v at outside store premises), AVR (630 KVA, 415 volt at outside store premises), UAT of every Unit (250 KVA, 11KV/415v inside power house) & Step up transformer 500 KVA 415v/11KV for spare transformer at outside store premises): Inspection ofstabilizers for oil condition, oil level, cooling system, necessary protection and hence undertake necessary maintenance as per operational manual,Remove dirt/dust especially accumulation on insulating surfaces or those which tend to restrict air flow. Clean up of winding, lead supports tap changing connections etc. Perform a visual inspection of coils, wiring and monitoring equipment. Check all temperature supervision equipment. Check all temperature supervision equipment circuits. Measure IR between HV, LV windings & core and between HV & LV windings. Check the tightness of power circuit connections. Visual inspection inside the terminal box to find out any abnormality like rust, corrosion, condensation, sparking. Tightness of the connections, vacuum & CRC cleaning. General inspection and cleaning of the system. Repair/replace the defective items wherever required for the hassle-free operation.
13AC & DC BOARD (LT Panels): Cleaning of panels inside & outside, removal of dust after drawing out all breakers (Main & aux.) and contactor operation. Applying Vaseline grease on all isolating, fixed and moving contacts. Tightening of all internal control wiring joints, power circuit joints and jumper connections. Checking of earthing connections, door locks and hinges. Checking of inter locking circuits & relays. General inspection and cleaning of the system/ Replacing of the items for smooth operation of LT panels. Maintenance of lighting/illumination system of switchyard, forebay, store and Barrage. Maintenance of LT room at switch yard.
14DG Set (250KVA/125KVA, 415volt): Inspection of Fuel system, cooling system, electrical components, air intake system, exhaust system, generator. Checking of Batteries, Check operation of all relays, contactors, breaker & other allied components. Verification of DG set under load. Checking healthiness of the Batteries. Replacement of old engine oil filters with new ones. Replacement of damaged copper lugs in LT cable joints wherever required. Complete servicing with changing of oil , oil/air filter, diesel filter and carbon brushes of the alternator once in a year.
15PENSTOCK (Dia=4.5m): Prevention of leakage. Maintenance and tightening of bolts at Expansion joints. Greasing of expansion joint and rockers for free movement of rollicking parts and transmission of stresses. Check the actual condition of each joint concerning leakage, tightening conditions etc so that steel penstock can smoothly expanded and contracted. Maintenance of supporting part. Prevention of vibration, if found any then rectification may be ascertained. Checking the interior of penstock. Measurement of shell thickness. Cleaning of penstock saddle and upper tubes with vim and cotton. Replacement of asbestos packing in the expansion joint, if required.
16TURBINE & UNDER WATER PARTS: Opening of draft tube and spiral casing dewatering valves, complete dewatering of Spiral casing and draft tube, Closing of MIV spiral casing bypass valve. Opening of draft tube and spiral casing man hole. Dismantling and cleaning/repairing of cooling water system. Dismantling and cleaning/repairing of shaft seal with cooling system. Erection of runner inspection platform. Visual inspection of runner. DYE PENETRATION testing of runner blades. Noting of runner blade thickness. Inspection of draft tube and draft tube gate. Erection of platform for guide vane inspection, noting of guide vane clearances (gaps) and bedding gap. Checking of guide vane opening and closing with shear pin, adjustment of the same if required. Greasing of guide vane bushes and replacement of damaged bushes if necessary. Noting of upper labyrinth gaps (inner and outer). Replacement of shaft seal with Cleaning of complete TGB pit. Removal of runner inspection platform. Closing of draft tube and spiral casing man hole. Closing of draft tube dewatering valve. Opening of MIV-spiral casing bypass valve. Opening of cooling system valves (inlet & outlet). Removing mechanical lock of MIV, lifting of draft tube gate and filling of draft tube. Starting of unit. Observation and adjustment if required of all the cooling water flows including shaft seal cooling water flow.
17GOVERNOR & ALLIED OPU WITH SERVOMOTORS: Cleaning of Governor Panel and the equipments within. Arresting leakage of hydraulic oil if found. Governor feedback calibration and replacement of feedback rope if necessary. Cleaning of Governor Oil filter. The normal function of the governor and the main servo motors are dependent on the reliable source of oil under a pressure which is maintained constant within close limit. The pressure pumping set is designed to operate on continuous operation mode. Under this operation mode, oil pumps works intermittently to maintain a pressure of 42 kg/cm2 in pressure tank in tandem with governor. Replacement of servomotor seals by new ones. Lubrication and greasing of joints, if required. Complete dehumidification, filtration & topping up of oil along with cleaning of oil sump. Arresting any kind of leakage found from the pumps of OPU. Replacement/Adjustment of valves if compressed air or oil is leaking from any area of the section. Cleaning of contactors/starters along with panels and replacement, if required. Repair the defective motors & pumps for hassle free operation. Calibration & upkeepment of auto operation of motors within permissible limits.
18MIV & ALLIED OPU WITH SERVOMOTORS: Cleaning all hydraulic pipe trenches and removal of scattered oil from the MIV floor. Checking all nut and bolts of MIV and associated servomotors. Replacement of servomotor seals. Inspection of MIV seals. Replacement of seals/bushes in OPU pump. Complete dehumidification, filtration & topping up of oil along with cleaning of oil sump. Arresting any kind of leakage found from the pumps of OPU. Replacement/Adjustment of valves if compressed air or oil is leaking from MIV section. Cleaning of contactors/starters along with panels and replacement, if required. Calibration & Upkeepment of auto operation of motors within permissible limits.
19HP & LP AIR COMPRESSORS: Complete inspection of compressors tanks, motors, belts, etc along with complete pipelines. Tightening of Nuts & Bolts. Cleaning and greasing may be done in rotating parts. Replacement of rubber gaskets in flanges when required. Clean the intake valves. Inspect the hoses & joints. Drain condensate/moisture from the tank. Clean the compressor fuel tank. Inspect the air compressors shut off system. Replacement of oil. Changing of Air/oil separator. Cleaning of electrical panels installed for three phase motors with present contactors, timers, relays, starters, etc. with replacement, if required. Complete servicing of compressors once in year. Wear & tear parts to be replaced by new ones.
20COOLING SYSTEM: Tightening of all nuts & bolts in complete cooling pipeline of the system and ensuring that no leakage is admissible in the system. Cleaning and Replacement of Strainer Baskets (made up of perforated SS sheet). Replacement of rubber gaskets for cooler flanges and covers.
21150/25 TON EOT CRANE: Greasing of all wheels, bearing, shaft bearing (both long travel and shortcut trolley), drum bearing, small hook and large hook. Gear Box: In long travel gear box and shortcut trolley replacement of Jam Seal and oil seal bearing. Small hook (25 ton) oil seal needs to be replaced, if leakage is found. Gear oils to be replaced by new one only after testing the oil. In addition to above checking of teeth of all gear box and replacing if required. Replacing of all carbon brushes of motor ( 6 no. each) i.e. 50HP= 2No, 12HP= 1No, 30HP = 1No. Coupling bush replacement (8 each) i.e. long travel and shortcut trolley. Replacement of all present aluminum wires by copper wires along with the starters, MCCBs and thimble replacement (25mm, 35mm, 50mm). Welding, leveling, tightening, locking and cleaning of train channel. Cleaning of power channel by grinders. Compounding of the all the Ropes of cranes. Overall cleaning and underneath lights to be repaired or replaced (4 No), if required. Complete servicing, replacement of oil, alignment of rail track, etc. of EOT Crane.
22DRAINAGE & DEWATERING SYSTEM: The section is divided into parts one is inside power house dewatering & other is outside powerhouse system. Inside powerhouse, the drainage sump is placed near unit 3rd and other is placed at unit 1st MIV. Running repairs to line shafts, bearings & bushes of all dewatering pumps. Tightening of all nuts & bolts. Arresting the leakage, if present. Cleaning of E/L panels, contacts, MCBs, Starters etc. for the installed motors & replacement, if required. Overhauling & repairs to all installed motors with allied pumps. Repairs in dewatering pipeline and checking the functioning of sluice valves, NRV, etc & replacement of same if required. Inside power house one gantry crane is installed, complete servicing and cleaning with application of cardium compound on the steel wire hoist.
23DT GATES: Inspect draft tube drain screen. Inspect water depression control column openings. Inspect draft tube wall for erosion and cracks. Two head gates are used to close off the draft tube for each machine. The lifting is being provided by movable gantry crane. The main problem with seating is collection of debris at bottom seal area. When machines are operating then gates remain available for repairs. Lubrication of operating mechanism, its electrical system and coating of steel ropes meant for crane. Checking and inspecting the condition of gate seals, rollers and other associated equipments. Complete servicing and cleaning with application of cardium compound on the steel wire hoist of the gantry crane.
24PENSTOCK GATES: Complete inspection and cleaning of penstock gates installed at forebay. Removal of any kind of rust or other foreign materials. Checking the condition and movement of gates with proper seating position. Checking of rollers and movement of gates. Application of cardium compound to all steel wire ropes. Checking the working of electrical switchgear used by crane for raising and lowering of gates. Changing of contactors, starters, breakers, etc. if required. Painting of truss/gantry of crane.
25FOREBAY & SPILLWAY: Complete cleaning of forebay after complete removal of water from forebay pond. Removal of trash and debris from the pond. General inspection of spillway gates, its foundation and checking the mechanism for proper functioning. Removal/repairing of any kind of erosion or cracks found in the section of forebay and spillway.
26BARRAGE & POWER CANAL: General and complete inspection of Barrage. Repair and replacement of steel wire rope (26mm/25mm dia), if found damaged. Replacement of damaged pullies STD std 26/24. Replacement of damaged roller brushes 100mm long 90mm ID and 110mm OD along with side plates. Replacement of Gate side seals. Replacement of damaged bottom seals. Repairs of worn-out reduction gear boxes. Replacement of seal, cleaning of elements of stop log gates once in a year. Maintenance of overhead crane of head regulator (HR) Gates and River Gates. Repair/Maintenance of Silt Ejector Gates, Flap gates & Escape gates. Repairing and maintenance of Staff quarter like repairs to bathroom, painting, etc at Barrage. Application of cardium compound to all steel wire ropes.
27FIRE-FIGHTING SYSTEM: Thorough inspection and necessary maintenance of complete firefighting system as per OEM guidelines.
28PART 2 RMC GENERATOR (39MVA, 50c/s, 0.9pf, 11KV, 214.3rpm, semi-umbrella type): Upkeepment of top covers, panels, generator barrel and checking for any oil/water leakage within generator. Necessary replacement/repairs of damaged seal, flanges, gaskets, cooling pipeline, etc.. Regular maintenance as per OEM guidelines.
29A. EXCITATION SYSTEM:Upkeepment of excitation panels. Checking and necessary replacement of fuses, MCBs, Power supplies, Thyristor banks, Arc splitter, Field breakers, limit switch, etc. Regular maintenance as per OEM guidelines.
30B. EXCITATION TRANSFORMER 600KVA, 11KV/255V (UET): General upkeepment and regular maintenance as per OEM guidelines.
31C. CURRENT COLLECTION SYSTEM (BRUSH TYPE/SLIP RINGS): Checking for any sparking in the slip rings and replacement of defective/worn out carbon brushes. Regular maintenance as per OEM guidelines.
32BATTERY BANK & CHARGER: General upkeepment of Battery Room and allied chargers. Cleaning of Battery terminals and Battery charger terminals. Checking and maintaining specific gravity of the battery bank within the range of 1.200 to 1.280.
33BRAKE, JACK & HP LUBRICATION:Checking the system for any oil/air leakage and keeping the system ready for any time operation.
34GUIDE BEARING (Combined & Upper Bearings and allied coolers I.e. TGB cooler, LGB/Thrust cooler & Hot Air Coolers):Checking/repair the joints of cooling pipeline for any leakage. Changing of Gaskets/cooler damages and cleaning of coolers whenever required.
35ELECTRICAL PROTECTION PANEL/CABINET: General upkeepment and maintaining the protection system in healthy conditions throughout the year.
36BUS DUCT: Visual inspection and general upkeepment for smooth operation.
37GENERATOR TRANSFORMER (14 MVA, 11KV/132KV):Regular maintenance and testing as per OEM guidelines. Cleaning of coolers whenever required. Removal of bird droppings when machine is under shutdown.
38SWITCHGEAR & STATIONS (132KV & 33KV LJHP S/Y, 33KV PEERNIA R/S with 11KV Line): General inspection and rectification of any abnormality within the system. Regular checking of temperatures of both oil & winding in transformers. Visual inspection of SF6 breakers, isolators and check for loose connections on isolators, jumpers, etc and repairs there after whenever required.

MST, SST, AVR & UAT(MST (20 MVA, 132KV/33KV at switchyard), SST (1600 KVA, 33KV/440v at outside store premises), AVR (630 KVA, 415 volt at outside store premises), UAT of every Unit (250 KVA, 11KV/415v inside power house) & Step up transformer 500 KVA 415v/11KV for spare transformer at outside store premises): Regular maintenance as per OEM Guidelines
40AC & DC BOARD (LT Panels): Cleaning of panels inside & outside, removal of dust. Tightening of all internal control wiring joints, power circuit joints and jumper connections. Checking of earthing connections, door locks and hinges. Checking of inter locking circuits & relays. General inspection and cleaning of the system/ Replacing of the items for smooth operation of LT panels. Maintenance of lighting/illumination system of switchyard, forebay, store and Barrage. Maintenance of LT room at switch yard.
41DG Set (250KVA/125KVA, 415volt): General upkeepment and Regular maintenance as per OEM Guidelines

45MIV & ALLIED OPU WITH SERVOMOTORS: General upkeepment of the system maintaining the optimum oil level in the sump. Checking and necessary maintenance for any oil/air leakages. Replacement of MIV servomotor seals, whenever required. Regular maintenance of allied electrical connections.
46HP & LP AIR COMPRESSORS: Checking for any air leakage within the system and necessary maintenance thereof. Regular maintenance as per OEM guidelines.
47COOLING SYSTEM: Cleaning of strainer baskets and Repair/ Replacement of damaged baskets, if required. Maintaining the required water flow and pressure for smooth operation of the power house. Checking and arresting the water leakage within the complete cooling system.
48150/25 TON EOT CRANE: Cleaning and removal of dirt, bird droppings and other foreign materials. Keeping the crane in ready and healthy condition for any time operation thought the year.
49DRAINAGE & DEWATERING SYSTEM: Day to day maintenance of all pumps, motors installed in dewatering stations, etc. including proper greasing, replacement ofbearings, seals, gland packing, checking of electrical connections, tightening of nuts & bolts etc. required for satisfactory operation of the system.

52FOREBAY & BARRAGE: Regular clearing of trash from trash guards from HR Gates and forebay gates. General upkeepment for smooth operation of the system.
53MISELLANEOUS: a)      Day to day maintenance of all pumps, motors installed in various systems of power house, head works, forebay, dewatering stations, etc including proper greasing, replacement ofbearings, seals, gland packing, checking of electrical connections, tightening of nuts & bolts etc. required for satisfactory operation of the system. b)     Checking of Trash guards, Gear boxes, steel ropes of suspended gates, etc., repairing if necessary.c)      All control panels including checking of operation of relays & contactors etc. d)     All pipe joints for any leaks, changing of gaskets, tightening of nuts & bolts etc. e)      Checking of functionality of all pressure gauges, meters, and temperature recorders including cleaning. f)       Cleaning of all control & relay panel and including checking of all electrical connections & proper tightening etc. Trouble shooting of the system, if required. g)      All auxiliary & ancillary equipment as per manufacturer’s guidelines. h)     Removal of day to day garbage and general upkeepmentof Power house and barrage.i)        Repair/replacement of conductor, clamps, spring, limit switches, charging coil, tripping coil, fuses, indicators, meters, etc. if required.j)        Rewinding of 15HP, 20HP, 25HP, 50HP, 75 HP etc motors if any of these found damaged during the RMC period. k)      Complete cleaning of power house floors, walls, control room, service bay, cable trench, dewatering trenches, disc valve surface floor etc.
