| 2 | Earth work in approved type of soil in borrow area by mechanical means and loading in to transportation vehicle and transportation of earth by mechanical means and unloading the earth over the approved surface of the embankment in proper profiles with all leads, lifts, delifts including rough dressing and breaking the clods in to 5cm to 7cm size including removal of all foreign materials, debris, grass, bushes, vegetations, shrubs, roots from transported earth including laying in layers not exceeding 22.50cm in depth including watering and ordinary compaction by VRR including construction and maintenance of haul road, cost of hire & running charges of all machineries, T&P, costof fuel, lubricants, cost of labour, carriage, royalty, cess, taxes etc. all complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement will be taken on finished compacted level section only and earth to be arranged by contractor at his own cost and responsibility) |
| 3 | Quarrying, collecting, supplying and stacking of good quality of moorum and sand in regular box heap size of 1.50mx1.50mx0.50m to be measured as one cum and admixing moorum and sand in (60:40) proportion and laying in sub-base/ shoulder of road in layers compacting to 225mm thickness with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess, taxes of all materials including hire charges of T&P materials required for the work, watering and consolidation with V.R.R at OMC, hire and running charges of machineries etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 4 | Earth work in excavation of foundation in ordinary soil for guard wall and toe of stone packing work of river embankment by manual and depositing the excavated earth away from the working area with initial lead 50m & 1.5m intial lift taxes and cess etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 5 | Quarrying, collecting, supplying hard granite stone boulder of 30cm and above size from approved quarry free from weather skin surface and other deleterious materials, Packing the stones in rip raps and slope protection woks in river embankments to required profile in all heights and depths including filling the interstices with small stones, wedging and hammering etc. including cost, conveyance, labour, T&P required for the work, royalty, taxes, cess, hire and running charges and transportation of all materials of approved quality with uniform colour and texture with all leads, lifts, delifts handling and re-handling etc. including all other incidental charges required to complete the work as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement will be taken on finished level section). |
| 6 | Fine dressing of earth work in slope of embankment including filling of earth of rain cuts and slopes with selected earth at contractors own cost and duly compacted and trimmed to the required profile and turfing with dub sods of rectangular shape of minimum 0.25cm thick with cost, conveyance by mechanical means with all leads, lifts and delifts, cess and all taxes to site of work including mobilization, demobilization, supervision charges with cost of all other materials, approach road, diversion road, site illumination including watering the sods till survival of grass with all cost incidental to the work etc. complete as per specifications and the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge (Measurement will taken after survival of grass) |
