Clearing & grubbing of embankment areaincluding uprooting rank vegetation, bushes,shurbs ,saplings , trees below 1.0 m. girth , removal of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials & stacking of serviceable materials to be used or auctioned up to a lead of 1000m based on pre-measurement including cost,carriage,royality,taxes of all materials,labour,cess & T&P required for the worketc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation ofapproved type of soil fromapproved borrow area by mechanical means and loading in to transportation vehicle and transportation of earth by mechanical means and unloadingthe soil witin initial lead 5.00 km by mechanical means and spreadingthe earth over the approved surface of the embankment in proper profiles with all leads, lifts,delifts includingrough dressing and breaking the clods in to 5 cm to 7 cm size including removal of all foreign materials, debrices, grass, bushes, vegetations, shrubs, roots from transportated earth including laying in layers not exceeding 22.50 cm in depthincluding watering up to OMC compaction at 95% dry densityincluding construction and maintenance of haul road, cost of hire & running charges of all machineries, T & P, cost of fuel, lubricants, cost of labour,carriage, royalty, cessetc complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.(Measurement will be taken on finished compacted level section only and earth to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and responsibility.)

Fine dressing of earth work in slope of embankment including filling of earth of rain cuts and slopes with selected earth at contractors own cost and duly compacted and trimmed to the required profile and turfing with approved compact dub sods of rectangular shape of minimum 8 cm to 10 cm thick with cost, conveyance by mechanical means to the work site with all leads, lifts and delifts,handling ,rehandling charges including mobilisation, demobilisation, supervision charges with cost of all other materials, approach road, diversion road, site illumination including watering the sods till survival of grasswith all labours,materials,transportation,T&P and cess etccomplete as per specifications and the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement will be taken on covered area after full growth & survival of grass for a resonable period).
