Painting of steel work of through type triangulated girder bridge including footpath, gang way, inspection ladder etc. of steel with final coat (finishing coat) of aluminium paint (IS:2339) after cleaning the same with scrappers and/or wire brushes to remove all rust and loose or perished paint to prepare perfectly clean & dry surface free from all dirt/foreign material, wherever required. \nRate include cost of labour, consumables, brushes, misc. tools and plants, ladders, scaffoldings, jhoola, hanging scaffolding, staging, fuel & power etc. wherever required. \nThe rate also includes thorough cleaning of bolt/rivet heads at joints & elsewhere in the girders and painting the same with one coat of ready mixed zinc chrome priming to IS:104 followed by one coat of zinc chrome red oxide priming to IS:2074. \nWork to be carried out as per specification enclosed and as per direction and instruction of BBJ/ S.W. Railway and/or their authorised agency/ representative.\n\n
