    1) out sourcing for checking the healthiness of DC system at various substations, 2) out sourcing for checking the healthiness of power line carrier channels used for protection at various substations, 3) out sourcing for checking the healthiness of optical fiber channels used for protection at various substations, 4) out sourcing to review of protection & to carryout relay setting calculations for relays used for generator protection, series of shunt compensating device and bus bar protection at various substations, 5) data acquisition system with industrial computer for tests on power cables, 6) very low frequency PD/TD testing of cables, 7) comprehensive test system for evaluation of electrical steels comprising of : a) measuring unit for magnetic properties of electrical steels, b) test set up for insulation resistance franklin tester) of electrical steels, c) test facility for evaluation of stacking steels, c) test facility for evaluation of stacking factor of electrical steels, d) device for visual inspection of grain structure of electrical steels, 8) accuracy measurement system of instrument transformers, 9) programmable electronic voltage burden with additional passive voltage burden, 10) 200 kv, 100 pF SF6 Gas insulated standard capacitor, 11) high precision C, L and Tan delta measuring burden, 13) high current resistance meter, 14) three phase power fail simulator, 15) three phase harmonics & flicker system.
