The design (showing full calculations and details) vetted by IISc Bangalore/ IITs/ NITs shall be submitted to the department as per time schedule. \n(iii) Suitable eves gutters and rainwater downtake pipes as required shall be provided to divert rain water from the roof to ground level . \n(iv) The rate quoted is deemed to include the cost for provision of necessary arrangement for fixing light fittings.\n(v) The structural element should be so designed as to prevent nesting/ sitting of birds inside the structure.\n(vi) The quoted rate shall include Initial load test, routine load test, pull out test and lateral load test as per relevant IS provision on each Blast Pen. 9 6.02 HANGAR FLOORING/ROAD/TAXI-TRACK\nM & L for Stabilising the soil which is in situ (Obtained from respective item of excavation under this BOQ at site as approved) breaking the oversize particles to required size, adding cement @ 2.0% (minimum) by weight of soil to be used in the item and water to the required quantity to maintain optimum moisture content of the soil mixture during consolidation, mixing the soil, cement and water in a mechanical mixing plant to obtain homogeneous mixture, laying the soil mixture in single layer not exc 150 mm thick for a total depth of 400 mm by mechanical means, consolidating with suitable compacting plants such as 8 to 10 Ton vibratory roller etc under optimum moisture content to achieve atleast 98% of maximum dry density (Modified Proctor Density) and to achieve 'k' value of not less than 4.00 kg/cm2/cm determined in accordance with relevant IS code of practices and finishing the surface to the required levels, gradients etc complete all as specified and directed. \nNOTES: \n(1) Soil for stabilization shall be obtained from respective item of excavation under this BOQ at site as approved by GE \n(2) The tenderer's quoted rate shall deemed to include the cost of material (ie cement) including carriage of soil from site to soil stabilising plant and carriage of stabilised soil from plant to site for laying in pavement locations.\n(3) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of cement is used / approved in the execution of work under this item. 1900 Cum

12 6.05 M & L for Providing and laying Dry Lean Concrete (DLC) 150 mm thick having compressive strength not less than 10 Mpa at 07 days (IRC:SP49-2014) for each consecutive group of 05 cubes. Individual strength of each cube must not be less than 7.5 Mpa at 7 days.
