Soil investigation by Augur boring method to carryout bore holes with 125 mm dia shell and augur equipment in all sort of soil max 10.00 mtr depth, collection of disturbed, undisturbed samples in 75mm dia thin wall tube sample from bore holes (Total 01 bore holes one at each location) and counducting suitable leboratry tests as mention below :-\n\n(a) Physical properties:-\n\n (i) Field dry density\n (ii) Field moisture content\n (iii) Specific gravity\n (iv) Particle size analysis\n (v) Atterbergs/consistency limit\n\n(b) Swelling properties :-\n\n (i) Free swell index\n (ii) Swell pressure test (FMC/OMC/Zero moisture).\n\nNote :- The soil investigation report should give the following recommendations for each category of building prposed to be constructed under particular projects in two additional tests.\n\n(c) Type of foundation ie isolated footing, raft foundation, pile foundation etc.\n\n(d) Safe bearing capacity at 1 mtr, 125 mtr, 1.5 mtr, 1.75 mtr, 2 mtr and 2.5 mtr, 3 mtr and 4.5 mtr.\n | 1 | Job | |
| 2 | 2 | (e) In case the safe bearing capacity is low ie, less thn 150 kN/Sqm, it should also be given at a depth of 4.5 mtr.\n\n(f) The above recommendations of SBC can be provided in a tabular for as under :-\n\n (i) Recommended SBC at different depth 1.0m, 1.5m, 2.0m, 2.5m, 3.0m, 3.5m, 4.0m 4.5m.\n\n(g) The above report shall also include following additional details:-\n\n (i) Site plan with proposed building duly marked alongwith reduced levels of corners of the building.\n\n(ii) Location of bore holes with their level with respect to a fixed bench mark or with respect to proposed FFL of building.\n\n(iii) Recommendation of foundation depth and soil bearing capacity with respect to the bench mark or proposed FFL/Bench Mark.\n\n(iv) Water table in the area.\n\nNote:- (a) All material, labour and T and P required for complete the job is responsibility of the firm.\n |
