    Tender for field work., soil/rock testing - mobilization and de-mobilization of all the equipment and personnel for carrying out soil investigations including erection and de-erection of equipment. transportation cost of personnel, equipment etc. complete. 15 nos. of bore holes up to depth of hard stratum (max up to 10m) are to be drilled to establish the subsurface stratification. the termination criteria are 3 m continuous boring in rock with 100% core recovery. however, the minimum depth of boring will be 7 m. drilling in rock (weathered and hard), obtain rock cores of nx size, by diamond core drilling using the triple tube core barrels, determination of material characteristics (strength/structure/colourfl’exture/grain size/rock type), mass characteristics (state of weathering! existing natural discontinuities/fracture state), conducting laboratory tests for determining engineering properties (viz. unconfined compressive strength, unit weight etc.). conducting standard penetration tests to obtain the shear strength parameters of the soil mass at an interval of 1 .5m and collect disturbed soil samples in the spt split spoon. collect undisturbed soil samples from the cohesive soil stratum to obtain information about their engineering properties. location: new lpg plant at bpcl rasayani, village parade/dapivali, post rasayani, dand apata road. taluka-panvel, raigad district, maharashtra-4 10207.
