| 1 | Cutting in earth work in roadway in all heights and depths in all kinds sof soils by manual / mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft and hard rock including chiselling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited), and dismentalling of breast walls if required and their intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required line, grades, width cutting and trimming of site , slope and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer - in - Charge at site according to the MoRTH specification (latest revision) clause - 301, 302 and 303, sorting out useful material and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of material for filling in roadways, camber, embankment for grade improvement and disposal of all surplus material to approved dumping site through all mode of transportation including head load alongwith its levelling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equpments and safety measures any incidental necessary to complete the work by machanical means/ labour if required. Any loss to the public / private property during course of execution shall be the absolute responsiblity of the cntractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases as per direction of Engineer - in - Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts.
