Activated carbon Filter made of mild steel (MS) with internally FRP coated with following specifications: Material construction - (1) MS 5mm thick cylindrical vessel with fibre reinforced plastic (FRP) coating at internal portion for 1mm thickness, (2) Dish made of MS 6mm thick with 1mm internal FRP coating and manhole of 450mm dia on top side, (3) Dish made of MS 6mm thick with 1mm internal FRP coating for bottom side, (4) Overall size 1000 mm dia and 1500 mm overall height, (5) Media of following sizes and height - Inside Filter (a) 25 to 50 mm pebbles: 150mm, (b) 15 to 25mm pebbles: 75mm, (c) 6 to 12mm pebbles: 75mm, (d) Coarse silex: 200mm & (e) Activated carbon: 500mm with iodine value between 1100 and 1200mg/g. Note: Installation and commissioning to be done by the supplier at the consignee place. If any pipes and valves are required the same shall be borne by the supplier.
