37 4.01 a) Completing and analysis of laboratory and fields test results along with detailed recommendation duly vetted by IIT/NIT/Govt Engg. College for selection of type of foundation with supporting design details of requirement including following i.e from [BOQ item 4.02 to 4.08] 1 Job
38 4.02 Calculate: (i) For open foundations, SBC at D- 1.5m, 2m, 2.5m & 3m from shear as well as settlement criteria. SBC value shall be calculated based on C-Phi analysis as wel as SPT value. For Calculations, formulae given in IS: 6403 shall be used.
39 4.03 ii) If pile foundation are required then depth of piles shall be mentioned and pile capacity in compression, uplift & lateral loads shall be given for 300, 400, 450, 500 dia for under reamed piles & for 450, 500, 550, 600, 650, 700, 750, 800 mm dia long piles.
40 4.04 iii) Recommendations regarding type of foundation to be adopted & net SBC/ pile capacities to be adopted shall be given.
41 4.05 iv) Recommendations shall be given regarding stability of soil and soil stabilization required, if any
42 4.06 v) Bore log details shall be as per Appx 'D' of IS: 1892. N values depth wise shall also be shown in bore log details
43 4.07 vi) As per IS: 1892 clause 3.6.5.3 drilling for 3m depth inside rock is essential to ensure that boulders or layers of cemented soil are not mistaken for rock. Report to be made accordingly.
44 4.08 vii) If hard soil with lesser than N Values as specified in Table- 1 of IS: 1893 (Part-1) 2016 is encountered, then evaluation of liquifection potential shall be assessed and remedial actions to be adopted shall be specified.\nNote: Payment shall be made as and when all testing reports of 5 copies(from Item 3.02 to 3.20 ) submitted to Engg-in-charge and verified by GE.
