This also includes salvaging of sprinklers from old piping, fabrication of mitres etc. Shifting of all scrap to scrap yard shall be in the scope of contractor. This also includes cutting and rebuilding of dyke if required for movement. Note: 1. The contractor shall be paid on the actual measurement on running meter basis of sprinkler system. 2. If the item is operated when tank is in operation then no hot job shall be permissible at site. The ring system shall be fabricated with flanges at ends of bend pipe and to be erected and boxed up. However, if it is carried out during M&I of tank then hot job may be permissible. The maintenance philosophy shall be decided by EIC at the time of execution. The rate of item shall remain unchanged for both maintenance philosophy. 3. The above item is applicable for replacement of fire water sprinkler ring only. 4.
