Liquid , Plastic Limit , Natural Moisture Content , Specific Gravity , Bulk And Dry Density , Type Of Soil Grain Size , Stratification Of Soil , Ground Water Table Location And Other Properties . ( B ) Evaluation Sheet Parameters Of Undisturbed Soil Samples By Adopting Direct Shear Test . ( C ) Evaluation Of Safe Bearing Capacity With Respect Of Sheer Failure Test And Permissible Settlement ( Total And Differential ) . ( D ) The Subsurface Investigation Report Shall Also Provide Geotechinal Interpretatior The Investigation On Following Lines :- ( I ) The Site Reconnaissance Data And The Entire Data From The Investigation Are Criticaly Reviewed And Analysed To Arrive At Geotechnical Models That Are Suitable For Design Of Foundation Suitable For The Structures Envisaged In The Report . ( Ii ) The Interpretative Report Shall Provide All Necessary References And Typical Calculation Used In Arriving At Such Geotechinical Model . ( Iii ) This Report Shall Provide Typical Use Of The Model For Arriving At The Safe Design Loads On Different Forms Of Foundation And The Details On The Suitability Difference In Ground Improvement Schemes If Found Relevant In The Project Site . The Report Shall Dwell Upon Various Options Of Foundation Types Suitable With Respect To The Existing Subsoil Conditions . ( Iv ) The Interpretative Report Shall Comment Upon The Suitability Of The Site Under Expected Systemic Activites And Recommedn Remedial Mitigation Procedures Sugget Additional Investigation Required To Complete Such Study . ( V ) The Report Shall Provide An Executive Summary Based On Which The Esign Recommedation For The Foundation For Different Structures In The Project Can Be Completed . ( Vi ) The Interpretative Report Shall Clearly Stipulate The Adequacy Or Inadequacy Of The Avilable Investigation Datat In The Formulation Of Various Geotechinal Model Recommended In The Project . ( Vii ) The Geotechinal Engineer To Use The Data From Different Investigation Procedures Collectively Or Independently To Arrive At The Desired Geotechnical Models . However , It Is Necessary To Establish That Necessary Consistency In The Data And The Interpreted Results Between The Investigation Procedures . ( E ) The Depth Of Ground Water Table ( Gwt ) Below Ground Level And Also Information About Its Seasonal Variation .
