The material of construction of the casing, suction bell shall be CIFG 260 with 2% NICI, impeller SS 316, shaft and sleeve should be SS 316 and vertical submerged column pipe, and delivery pipe (varies from 2 to 6 m length as per site conditions) of SS 304 with 6 mm minimum thickness. A non-corrosive metallic strainer of mesh size not more than 50 mm X 50 mm should be fitted at mouth of suction column. Any hanging portion of the delivery pipe should be supported with suitable metallic supporting frames.\nThe prime mover for the pump should be 3 phase TEWC squirrel cage submersible induction motor suitable for 415 V +/- 10%, 50 Hz +/- 5% connection with class “F” insulation, cubicle type panel board with all necessary protection units and instrumentation. Auto transformer starter of reputed make (SIM insertion type, remote control ), MCCB including suitable metering, LED indications, selector switch, single phase and dry running preventer, suitable capacitor etc., wiring and earthing should be as per regulations and specifications of KSEB and Electrical Inspectorate. Suitable water proof, copper power cable, about 20.00 m length or as per site requirement. A screen with 6 mm GI welded mesh with 50 mm X 50 mm opening size, framed in GI angles and GI tubes shall be fitted at the openings on top and sides of sump to prevent entry of unwanted materials to the pump through inflow water. \nThe rate quoted should inclusive all the charges for supply, installation including petty civil works, trial run and commissioning, all type of transport and conveyance, loading and unloading charges, GST etc.\n | | | |

The material of construction of impeller and shaft shall be SS304, and that of pump body is Cast Iron FG 260 with 2% nickel.\na shelter with FRP/GRP portable cabin, corrosion resistant, size suitable with the foot area of the pump and accessories quoted, 10 ft height with one door and two ventilators and with out floor. A pump foundation of size suitable for the weight of pump quoted has to be provided in Cement Concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix.\nFully wired, cubical type MS panel board, consisting of auto star delta starter, MCB, ELCB, LED Indicators, Selector Switch, Fuse units, Single Phase and dry run preventer, Capacitor, earthing etc., as per KSEB norms and safety norms of Electrical Inspectorate.\nThe length of suction pipe is approximately 6 m, 6 mm thick, made of SS 304 including all fittings such as flanges, bends etc. A non return valve should be provided at delivery side.
