Automatic Microprocessor based Isoperibol Bomb Calorimeter should be as per latest International Standard (ASTM D5865 13 ) able to determine Gross Calorific Value of various grades of coal, liquids Like HFO and LDO etc. 2. The instrument should be directly controlled by the computer so that millions of result and many methods (more than 25) can be stored. It should be limited by the computer hard disc drive capacity. The computer must use software with Windows 7 (or higher) operating system that has security settings and support compliance to 21CFR part 11 regulations and should have on board help manual: and perform wellness checks based on user defined condition. This Windows base software should be able to manage the data, store unlimited number of calibrations, and publish report. 3. The instrument should have large integrated Display & control unit with Soft touch/ Touch Screen Key pads to operate the system with facility to interface precision balance & inbuilt data storage, printer along with other spares and accessories for ready to use. 4. Working Method: Isoperibol Calorimetric principle as per latest relevant ASTM D 5865 13 and BIS - 1350 (PART II) Standards. 5. Bomb Type : High strength SS, halogen resistant removal it should be supplied with required test Certificate as per safety norms. 6. Oxygen Filling: Fully Automatic gas filling facility with auto shut off of filling valve after attaining requisite pressure integrated in machine. 7. Water handling Unit: Instrument must be supplied with integrated water handling system from original equipment manufacturer with OEM certificate. 8. Correction facility: Instrument should have facility to apply any one or all the following correction for moisture, ash, sulphur and nitrogen. 9. Precision/ repeatability: The precision should be equal or better than 0.05% RSD with benzoic acid at 1 gram of sample. 10. Temperature Resolution : The temperature measuring resolution should be 0.0001 deg C 11. GCV range : up to 10000 kcal/kg for1 gm of sample 12. Should able to take 0.1 gram to 1.5 gram of sample depending up on the calorific value of the sample.
