Within the port limits.\nUnderwater diving work is required fora) Clearing the fouled propellers of tugs, launches, dredgers etc.b) Searching for objects fallen into the water.c) Searching for drowned persons in case of accidents.d)Sea bed inspection, clearing minor siltation/obstructions near dry dock, jetties etc.e) Connecting and disconnecting anchors, chains and other accessories meant for mooring including inspection of moorings and accessories searching and marking with marker buoys etc.f) Placing shaped charges for facilitating under water blast.g) Passing ropes and shackles (slings) on underwater objects to clear fouled objects from the propulsion system of tugs.h) Adjustment of hopper doors of dredger\n.i) Cleaning of sea chest.j) Any other diving work.\nNote: The port will provide suitable launch for\n transporting the divers and their gear, accessories, \ncompressor etc., to the site of work and back. \n The port provides necessary \nTackle for marking and for other purposes. | 360 | 360 shifts (180 shifts per year) of four hours each\n(Hours of each shift which starts from the time of reporting at concerned office till completion of the job and back to the concerned office. | |
