Supply And Installation Of Lab Equipment ( One Bacterial Fermentor With Accessories ) For University School Of Biotechnology-Culture Vessel n(i) Double wall glass vessel with working volume maximum 5 litre or more, minimum working volume should be around 2 litre or less. Provision of interchangeable vessels (around 3 litre, around 10-15 litre) is required. Capable of batch, fed-batch and continuous processes. n(ii) Stainless steel stand to support the culture vessel n(iii) Impeller: 3 x 6 blade segment rushton impeller, Stirrer diameter: around 60 mm, n(iv) 1 x Ring sparger ( or micro sparger) or Suitable L Sparger Hose nozzle for hose connection, ID around 3-4 mm n(v) An adapter should be available to reduce the total height of the system during the autoclave n(vi) Stirrer shaft with single mechanical seal and direct coupling n(vii) Inlet/exhaust air filter (PTFE): Pore size 0.2 µm, Filter area not less than 20 cm², Autoclavable at least 20 times at 121 deg C n(viii) Temperature control: pt 100 with a range of 0-150 deg C (Temp. Control: 0-80 deg C or better) with accuracy 0.10 deg C n(ix) Motor with either Direct Drive or magnetic motor coupling : Maintenance free, top drive with speed range of around 50-1000 rpm or better nB Control Tower n(i) Touch screen display of around 7-14 n(ii) Process control parameters, measurement range and probes for: Temperature (around 0 deg C to 80 deg C with 0.1 deg C resolution), pH around (2- 12 pH with 0.01 pH resolution), DO (0-100% with 0.1% resolution), Foam, level and Redox sensor with a control range from -1000mV to +1000mV or higher. Standard fermenter probes/sensors from Hamilton or Mettler for pH and DO or from the fermentor manufacturers. n(iii) Additionally, if required same control tower can be used for single use / roking motion bioreactor ( With essential modification possibility ) n(iv) System should have automatic controls of pH, DO, temperature, Antifoam n(v) At least 3 Nos integrated Fast Load pump with fixed speed with 20 rpm or better(on/off control) and at least minimum 1 no external pump with variable speed that can operate as part of system and standalone mode to support continuous or Bolus addition. n(vi) Extra ports IO Board to input ancilliary equipment signal data inputs (0–10 V or 4-20 mA) for fermenter control panel such as exist gas, load cell or external pump n(vii) Should be facilitated with USB port, Ethernet n(viii) Same control tower can be configured for other vessels including rocking motion bioreactor or single use bioreactor. Minimal modification is allowed for that. nC Aeration Module n(i) Air and with O2 Enrichment with Gas Flow Ratio mixing using dedicated Mass Flow controller.
