Description:- Collection and supply of soil (as per special condition for earth work) suitable for widening banks,\rmaking up low cess/eroded banks approved by the Engineer in charge to standard profile for BG formation as\rper IRPWM-2004 and upto date correction slip by contractor's means including excavation from outside the\rRailway limit, including removing and rooting out shrubs, jungles, rank vegetation and thorny bushes etc.,\rmanually or mechanically if any required at site of work, benching the slope at 30 cm height in the existing bank\ras required, spreading the earth in layers of 15 cm, sectioning to standard profile, compacting the earth work\rwithalllabour,toolsandplant,cuttingequipments,vehicles,consumables,lead,lift,descent,seignorage\rcharges, conveyance from the place of availability etc., loading ,unloading, alongside the track in site of work\rwithin railway limit, dumping, spreading and compaction charges, track crossing if any., and incidental charges\retc., complete by the contractor and as directed by the engineer's representative.\"Note:- 1.Payment will be made\rfor the quantity assessed by cross section method only. 2. Initial cross section at regular intervals to be taken by\rthe Engineer's representative jointly with the contractors and to be recorded for measurements purpose as per\rthe special condition for earth work. 3. The quantity of earth work furnished is only the net quantity after\rcompaction. The contractor shall ensure that sufficient quantity of earth is collected to get the finished level as\rper standard.\"
