Supply Of Equipment Differential Scanning Calorimeter For University Science Instrumentation Centre Under Rusa Grant.- Supplying, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) with following specifications. n nI. Principle of operation: Heat Flux, System provide raw data without mathematical treatment / deconvolution / smoothening / baseline correction. nII. Heat flow measurements in Static as well as Dynamic Gas Atmospheres essential. nIII. Temperature range: -25°C to 700°C with RCS in a single run (RCS should serviceable in India). nIV. Furance: Low mass Furnace made of Silver for rapid heating/cooling and resistant to corrosion. nV. Temp. accuracy : +/- 0.2°C or better Temp. accuracy : +/- 0.2°C or better nVI. Temp. precision : +/- 0.02°C or better nVII. Furnace temp. resolution : 0.00006°C or better nVIII. Heating rate : 0.02 to 250°C/min or better nIX. Controlled Cooling rate : 0.02 to 50°C/min nX. Pressure : Ambient nXI. Sensor: Ceramic, Chemical resistant, Corrosion resistant, exchangeable type heat flow measurement with multiple-thermocouples (More than 100) offering low signal time constant of 1.8s or better. nXII. The sensor should not an integral part of the furnace and the sensor should easily replaceable nXIII. Resolution : >16 million points, 0.04µW nXIV. Data Sampling rate: max. 50 values per second nXV. System should not need recalibration when changing crucible, gases and heating rates. nXVI. Purge gas : Inert, reactive & static. nXVII. DSC Amplifier range : +/- 350mW or better nXVIII. Accuracy of Enthalpy measurement : <1% Indium nXIX. Crucibles: 40µl Aluminium crucibles (1000nos.) with a Sealing press. nXX. Gas Controller: Inbuilt nXXI. Data acquisition/processing system: Windows based Software should enable automatic / manual on-line data acquisition and display of running measurements, Calibration. The multi-tasking software should facilitate storage of both raw DSC data as well as deconvoluted data in the form of standard DSC curves. The s/w should have the facility of choosing different baseline e.g. line, tangential, horizontal, spline, Integral tangential, polygon line etc. for correct evaluation/ integration of peaks. Options for Baseline correction, data smoothening, plot expansion, Curve overlay unlimited, Font selection etc. should be provided. Storage of results in tabular form (ASCII format) should be facilitated. nXXII. The system have provision for future up gradation with microscopy-DSC Measurements with Visual Observation: Simultaneous image analysis and DSC measurements – provide a complete thermal picture of the sample with Microscopy System. nXXIII. Nitrogen cylinder with SS regulator & flow meter should be supplied with the instrument. nXXIV. Suitable PC & Laser Printer should be supplied with the instrument. nXXV.
