The operator must be competent to carry out the minor Maintenance of water supply installation all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.\n(ii) One skilled Valve operator per shift of 08 hours (Total 04 shifts per day i.e 2 shifts per day for each water supply installation at Item Nos 1 & 2 above & One skilled Valve operator per shift of 08 hours (Total 06 shifts per day i.e 3 shifts per day for each water supply installation at Item Nos 3 & 4 above having minimum ITI qualification in respective trade from Govt recognised institute with adequate knowledge with minimum two years experience in maintenance & operation of water supply pipes & valves. | 8 | 4.2 | (d) In view of COVID-19 alerts various restrictive instructions issued concerned authorities from time to time. Hence additional precautions essential for the work shall be taken by the contractor by way of provisioning of masks, hand sanitizers, gloves etc to workmen and all local instructions issued by the Concerned Authorities and Station Authorities shall be complied with all relevant safety precautions covered under Model Rules for the protection of health and sanitary arrangement for workmen (Annexure ‘C’ of IAFW-2249) shall be strictly followed. Nothing extra is admissible on this account \n(e) The contractor shall also deploy additional man power as relief against weekly off,leave,holidays etc all as per existing Labour Act and shall substitute the operator accordingly for which no extra payment admissible. | 10 | 4.4 | (m) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operators & helper and design of uniform shall be got approved from GE. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 100/- per day per operator will be levied and recovered from dues.\n(n) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit (Gum boots-02 pairs, hand gloves), a penalty of Rs 3000/- will be recovered and levied \n(o) The Contractor shall maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly or whatsoever maintenance is carried out during contract period in a binded book / register and shall obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge every fortnightly. \n(p) In the case of absence of operator, penalty will be charged as doubled as quoted rate or Rs 1000/-per shift whichever is higher besides any loss/damages occurring during the period which will have to be made good by the contractor without any extra cast. | |||
