13 9.01 (i) ENGINE\n(a) General: Suitable four stroke compressed ignition, radiator water cooled,Turbocharged aspiration, continuous duty with 10% overload capacity for any one hour in 12 hours running, 50°C intake air temperature, CPCB-II approved Engine developing minimum 20.5 HP at 1500 RPM coupled to alternator mounted on Channel Iron base frame with in built removable fuel tank of capacity not lessthan 12 Hrs consumption capacity at 75% load or more as per manufactures reccommendation. The prime mover provided should be as per IS specifications having engine overload protection.\n(b) Air intake system : Should comprise of dry type intake air filter mounted on engine, one in number vacuum indicator mounted on intake piping.
14 9.02 (c) Exhaust System: Should comprise of one exhaust manifold, dry type, mounted on engine, one exhaust silencer which should be positioned in such a way that the exhaust gas is not sucked by the fan on the radiator, thereby affecting the cooling system. The silencer should cater to the noise level tolerance prescribed in the relevant BS/IS. The silencer should be provided with flaps it will open only when the generator is running with a provision of extended exhaust beyond the building duly supported with GI pipe 100MM dia so that exhaust gas is released out side. The complete exhaust system shall be properly supported so that entire lot of the exhaust system shall not fall on the DG Set.
15 9.03 (d) Fuel System: Should comprise of disposal type element fuel filter, pressure type fuel pump mounted on engine, non return check valve in fuel supply and drain lines, wire braided hose between filter and pump, fuel system with suitable capacity full authority electronic engine electronic governor and engine mounted actuator. The fuel tank must have proper locking arrangement with level indicator and to be integrated with base frame.
16 9.04 (e) Cooling System: Should comprise of radiator designed and tested for 50o C ambient temperature with 7 PSI pressure cap mounted on base rail. The thermostat installed in the engine coolant outlet, fresh water pump mounted on engine, fan and fan hub mounted on engine. A reservoir of 50% of radiator capacity to replenish coolant by gravity (as and when required) is also to be provided.
17 9.05 (f) Lubricating System: Should comprise of lubricating oil sump mounted on engine, gear driven lub oil pump mounted on engine, lubricating oil cooler-fresh water cooled integral with engine cool out circuit mounted on engine, oil filter lubricating with cap and lubricating oil dip stick for oil level check mounted on engine. The system should be capable of feeding lube oil to the main end & large end bearings, cam shaft, valve rocker gear and all moving parts.
18 9.06 (g) Starting System: Should comprise of suitable voltage DC electrical starter mounted on engine, with suitable maintenance free batteries -1 No of capacity 12 V DC with 75 AH to be mounted in trays (having rubber insulation) on the main frame or the capacity as per specification of manufacturer. It should have the provision to charge the battery from external sources during static condition and while running of the generator.
19 9.07 (h) AC Generator : The generator shall be horizontal and foot mounted, minimum 15 KVA, 415 Volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 0.8 PF, 50 HZ, seperately excited, self regulated, brushless AC generator, suitable for an ambient temperature of 50° C with IP-23 enclosure class H insulation and temperature rise limited to class H as per following technical details

21 9.09 NOTE : \nFollowing shall be deemed to be included in cost quoted :-\n1. Nessary foundation for installing the DG set and any other accessories shall be provided as per manufactures recommendation and cost of the same deemed to be included in the quoted rate.\n2. Cost of testing including arrangement of artificial load upto 110 % of rated capacity, temporary arrangement of connecting cables, decibel meter and cost of fuel & testing material shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
22 9.1 (j) BASE FRAME: Shall be stand by and fabricated from CRCA sheet or as recommended by the manufacturer metal which shall be suitable to mount the engine, alternator and radiator, channel width of base frame shall be adequate to accommodate anti-vibration pads.
23 9.11 (k) CONTROL PANEL: Shall be indoor type manufactured with 14/16 guage CRCA sheet and is powder coated for weather-proff and long lasting finish consisting of microprocessor power command controller, Aluminium busbars with suitable capacity with incoming/outgoing terminals, indicating lamps for 'Load ON' and 'Set Running', instrument fuses duly wired and ferruled, ACB of suitable rating with overload and short circuit protections etc. complete all as specified and directed.
24 9.12 (l) AMF PANEL: Sheet steel enclosed cubical type panel, LT 415 Volts 3 phase 50 Hz, made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet for body & 2 mm thick for partitions ,consisting of suitable rated contactors, 4 Pole 16 KA 63 A MCCB - 2 Nos ( for Mains/DG ), AMF Relay, Volt meter, ammeter with selector switches, Multifunctional Energy meter, Generator protection relay of L&T make, CTs and 3 Phase indicating lamps, timers etc all as per latest engineering practices.
25 9.13 Note :- The cost of control cables from engine Control panel to AMF panel shall be deemed to be included in the cost quoted.
26 9.14 (m) Accessories :-\n(i) 01 No standard mechanical and electrical tool box.\n(ii) Internal covered tube lights.
27 9.15 (n) Acoustic Enclosure :-\nSpecially designed to meet CPCB norms 75dBA @ 1 mtr at 75% load under free field conditions. The Acoustic enclosure is made of CRCA sheets and a structural/sheet metal base with high quality noise absorbent and fire-retardant grade acoustic insulation material (P.U.Foam) complying to IS 8183 with two point lifting handles
28 9.16 (a) Internal Lighting: Tube lights with protective mesh around it to be fitted inside the container for proper illumination.\n(b) Doors : The enclosure will be provided with suitable doors on the side and rear to enter the enclosure during operation and maintenance. All doors will be provided with lock and handles for opening/ closing the doors, retainers for holding the panel door
29 9.17 (o) Painting Scheme :\nSuperaltive fade resistant paint can last longer in through whether conditions
30 9.18 (p) Lifting/ Transportation arrangements :-\nContainer with suitable corners will be provided to lift the DG set along with container. This is suitable for road/ rail/ sea transportation.
31 9.19 (q) Trials:-\nTrials on site should be given as per load tests prescribed and all functional trials should be shown.
32 10 M & L for dismantling the LT / HT connections, earthings, controlling cables carefully from the transformer installed on plinth of 33 KV NAD yard and loading the 2.5 MVA transformer (Approx minimum weight 6675 Kg ) with crane of capacity not less than 20 tonnes and above, on to the transporting trolley vehicle complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.\n(Note : If any damage occurs it is responsibility of contractor to make it serviceable). 2 JOB
33 11 M & L for dismantling the LT / HT connections, earthings, controlling cables carefully from the transformer installed on plinth of 33 KV Eksila yard and loading the 5 MVA transformer (Approx minimum weight 10200 Kg ) with crane of capacity not less than 20 tonnes and above, on to the transporting trolley vehicle all as directed by Engr-in-charge.\nNote : If any damage occurs it is responsibility of contractor to make it serviceable. 2 JOB
34 12 M&L for transporting the transformer 5 MVA on trolley vehicle of suitable capacity to NAD 33 KV Yard from 33 KV MRS at Eksila carefully complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge. 2 JOB
35 13 M&L for transporting the Transformer 2.5 MVA on trolley vehicle of suitable capacity to 33 KV MRS at Eksila from 33 KV MRS at NAD carefully and all as directed by Engr-in-charge. 2 JOB
36 14 M&L for unloading of 5 MVA transformer with cranes of capacity not less than 20 tonnes and above on the transporting trolley vehicle and placing it on the transformer plinth at 33 KV MRS NAD carefully and compleet all as directed by Engr-in-charge. 2 JOB
37 15 M&L for unloading of 2.5 MVA transformer with cranes of capacity not less than 20 tonnes and above on the transporting trolley vehicle and placing it on the transformer plinth at 33 KV MRS Eksila carefully and complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge. 2 JOB
38 15.01 Note : \n(i) Any damage to insulators / bushes / windings etc while in the custody of the contractor shall be made good at no extra cost to govt. The serviceability of the transformer shall be checked and shall be confirmed by the contractor before taking into his custody.\n
39 16 Comissioning and testing of the transformer including IR Test, Ratio Test, Magnetic Balance Test etc complete all as directed. 4 EACH JOB
40 17 Replacement of AVR and TRCC panel suitable for 5 MVA and 2.5 MVA Power Transformer including cubical internal connections and communication lines between AVR, RTCC and OLTC complete all as directed. 4 EACH JOB
41 18 Replacement of existing unserviceable auxiliary relays, differential relays and master tripping relay with niew digital relays and verification of operation of the same relays complete all as directed. 4 EACH JOB
42 19 M&L of supply and fixing 33 KV CT's Oil immersed out door type, 3Core , Ratio 250-150/5A for Core1 - Class 1 , 15VA , Core 2 - 5P10 Class , 15VA , Core 3 - Ratio 250-150/1A , Class PS , Vk/2 <30mA @ 500V as per existing model and capacity all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.\nNote : The rate quoted is including to dismentling of old CT set and deposite to department 3 EACH SET
43 20 Rectification of the control wiring for the transformers, installation and functional checks on the control wiring, which includes connections from RTCC panel to marshlling box, AVR to OLTC, Transformer protection devices to marshlling box and relays and tripping circuit complete all as directed. 4 EACH JOB
44 21 Supply, erect, test and commissioning of minimum 16 meter high mast system with its accessories. Mast shall be in two sections, hot dip galvanized and suitable for wind velocity 70 M/ sec as per IS 875 part 3. It shall consist of GI lantern carriage suitable for 8 luminaries symmetrically & their control gear boxes and lighting finial, double drum winch with both motor and manual operation, suspension system with SS wire rope 6mm dia (7/19 construction), trailing cable of flexible copper conductor cable 5 core 2.5sq.mm (minimum), torque limiter adjustable type & 01 No. aviation obstruction light (LED type). 45 21.01 Note: \nThe rate quoted shall be inclusive of the following :\n(a) Supply of foundation bolts manufactured from special steel along with nuts, washers, anchor plates & templates- complete set\n(b) Supply of control panel housing suitable control circuit for the operation of the mast made out of 3mm thick CRCA sheet, double door type with slopy canopy suitable for outdoor installation. It shall also consist of suitable control for the power tool motor -01 No with suitable switchgear and wiring from panel to light fittings with suitable copper conductor cable, glands, lugs including suitable foundation.
46 21.02 (c) Construction of suitable shallow foundation with M-20 grade concrete for the mast considering the safe soil bearing capacity at site as 10 t/m² at 2 meter depth with all material and labour \n(d) Erection and commissioning of the high mast with the help of suitable equipment. \n(e) Provision of GI pipe earthing for mast with 2.5m long 40mm dia GI Pipe including connection to mast earth terminal with 32 X 6mm GI flat with all material and labour.\nNote : The LED flood light fittings required will be measured and paid separately under relevant Schedule items.\n
47 22 Supply only LED flood light fitting with total lumen output not less than 19000 lumens, comprising of epoxy powder coated housing, enclosed with glass cover in frame (suitable wattage for efficiency not less than 95 lumens/Watt) with ingress protection IP 65/66 with and including SPD protection of capacity 10 KV in addition to built in SPD of electronic driver complete all as specified and as directed.\n(Make: CG Model No. LFLN-200-CDL/60-M or its equivalent in Havells / Philips / GE / WIPRO).\n 16 EACH
